I was pleased with the presence of a boiler, at the time of my arrival in Minsk there was no hot water in other hotels. The condition of the room is of course the USSR, but the room is clean. Beautiful view of the city.

The hotel itself is a real museum of the USSR, but I will note the cleanliness of the bed linen, sanitary units and the presence of a refrigerator in the room. It turns out that the most necessary thing is to eat, and we looked at how people used to live in Soviet times.))
This is a residential area.

A cozy hotel with an authentic atmosphere of the USSR: Soviet-era furniture, a key with a huge iron weight, separate (honestly, for the first time I see) a toilet with a bathtub. Surprisingly clean (the ventilation grilles without dust and the same ceiling lights immediately caught my eye), boiled white bed linen. From the modern - wi-fi routers throughout the building, including in the rooms + LCD TV.
Location: Agat bus stop is within walking distance, from it you can take 1 trolleybus to m. East/ Walking distance (you can also walk, lay down 30 minutes). The nearest attraction is the National Library, we had windows on it :)
The only negative we noticed is there is nowhere to eat: the "bar" is open only for breakfast until 12:00 (pastries, tea, coffee), then - by yourself. As a result, we had dinner at DanaMoll near the metro.

It looks like a Soviet-era trade union dispensary. But we only spent the night there and that's why everything was fine. The room price is low. Other hotels in Minsk are expensive.

What to expect from an 80's hotel. The situation is still the same. Parquet floors. But repairs are already being done, the elevator is being changed. The bar has been renovated.
