In this situation, of course, I figured it out, but the sediment remained!
I want to share my situation with people, as a bank specialist can get you divorced!
The bank's specialist who issued my bank card was polite and smiling enough, but this does not mean that she is a decent and competent employee.
It doesn't mean why.
Because at the final stage of issuing a bank card, the specialist forced me to pay for the insurance of the bank card.
After telling me that: "The MANDATORY bank card insurance service was introduced recently!"
I asked her again about it, the employee answered me the same thing again: "card insurance is MANDATORY."
Since this is mandatory, and I needed a ready-made card soon (by the way, the bank card itself was free), without resistance, I went to the cashier to pay for insurance, not knowing that it was not necessary at all and I had a choice to insure it or not.
I found out about the optional card insurance after I called the bank and had a thorough consultation with a specialist.
Conclusion: the girl who issued my bank card did it all intentionally! I think because she misleads the client, she is encouraged.
P.S. To lie to the client's eyes and force him to pay, while also saying that the client himself misunderstood everything… After I discussed this situation with another bank employee by phone, all this information was passed on to this "nice, polite" girl who immediately called me. She introduced herself to me and clarified that she had issued me a bank card.. And then, without even giving me a chance to say a word, she started interrupting with the phrase "it's probably you, you misunderstood me somehow." Of course, this is a feat and 100% respect.
+ as a karma to this employee, the boomerang will fly to her one day!
I do not recommend this branch!
I have been a client of Alfa Bank for several years now, their application causes only positive emotions, but visiting the bank itself causes only negativity, there are constantly huge queues with two out of five operating cash desks, and self-service terminals generally work every other time and a couple have to stand in huge queues to replenish their card or resort to other ATMs banks. I would like to believe that Alfa Bank's management will resolve this issue soon and we will no longer have problems replenishing cards and withdrawing cash from them.
Alfa is a good bank. I like the app and the service. But it all ends when you get to this department: queues in the morning, at lunch and in the evening. There is a queue at the cash desks, specialists and ATMs! You're serious about 2024. Alpha expand or open another branch at least nearby)
