Shlypra Gorge
The inhabitants call themselves islanders. And the place is called uninhabited island and Robinson Island.
Beautiful beach, secluded. Nature is gorgeous.
A unique piece of protected forest, cut off from the outside world! You really get there, like on an island, in a completely different, enclosed space.
Connoisseurs of nature, hiking and scenic expanse will find a secluded place for a camp here.
For those who are far from living in the field, there is a more comfortable accommodation!
Tropical bungalows, ala Thai style.
Shlypra is a beach in the gorge of the Musser Reserve, a piece of land cut off from civilization. There are no cities or towns around. Here you can enjoy the sounds of nature and the sound of waves. The forest refreshes the air even on the hottest day. The sea in this place is completely transparent, and there are few people. The journey by sea along the cliffs took 1:35.

An ideal place to relax with a tent 😍 the glades are equipped for tents: a table, benches and a bonfire. For those who do not want to have a tent, you can rent a bungalow. There is a cafe on the well-groomed territory of the base, where you can charge gadgets for free and use Wi-fi. From the food in the cafe, be sure to try the boats, they are very tasty).
The beach and the sea are clean, the views are fascinating, there are few people. It was a pleasant surprise for us that Shlypra can only be reached by sea,
The Shlypra recreation center is a place of complete relaxation.
We will definitely come back more than once

A heavenly place! Convenient transfer, we spent the night in a bungalow at an affordable price, they also rest in tents there. There is a shower, a toilet, a cafe (live vocals in the evening), tables with benches where you can fry a barbecue (we were provided with a grill). The beach is clean, there are sun beds, but few. You can go to the cave, which is actually an artificial tunnel.

The nature of the place is just beautiful, the restaurant and the main toilet are well cared for. But in general, some things are jarring, the fact that in the center of the main beach there is a huge black mountain of burnt and completely untidy garbage, cans, bottles, an old rusty bed, so spoils the whole view, can't you burn it somewhere in a more private corner:(In almost the only shadow near the beautiful shower, a pile of garbage rises and stinks in the heat!! Well, is there a place for a dump on a plage?? Children run and play there, too. And since no camp conditions are advertised, it would be nice to take care of the toilets that are located deep behind the stream, it is simply impossible to get to them through the rubble of trees and rhododenrons, which is very sad. And so the place is super, with huge potential 👍🏻🏕️

It's a magical place for me.. I grew up here.. I have been vacationing with my parents and sister in a tent camp since I was 3.5 years old, starting in 1972..Best friends, wonderful acquaintances, first love, it's all here.. Here my father introduced me to spearfishing and taught me how to survive in both rain and storm. She brought her son and husband here. They fell in love with Shlypra as much as I love her. I pay tribute to the current owners of the gorge, - guys, you are doing well, trying to preserve nature in its original form, and provide comfort and coziness to tourists living there. God grant you strength and patience! I definitely recommend it to lovers of wild recreation, spearfishing and pristine nature! We come here every time we visit Abkhazia, and let it continue to be so.. With love, and hope for an early meeting.. Anna and Yuri..

We were on the Roof twice. Once we left the beach, wondering what it was, and where the film Robinson Crusoe with Kuravlev was shot. We were very lucky, we stayed for the whole day. You can actually get there only from the sea. For the second time, 3 adults and 4 children walked along the coastline in 2.5 hours and spent another wonderful day.
The cafe is very atmospheric, the food is delicious. The toilets are rustic, clean with toilet paper. In the process of construction, new, comfortable

They cook delicious, but not cheap. Beer 120 rubles (August 2022) shish kebab 350 rubles for 200 gr. salad of fresh vegetables 250 rubles. But everything is delicious. The campsite itself consists of several bungalows (a felled house with a roof and curtains instead of windows) for 1500 rubles and a place where you can put up a tent, the price is 400 rubles per person per day. A tent is not provided. (I think it's expensive-so a family of 4 people 1600 rubles per day for a piece of land for rent) There is a shower, it is possible to charge the phone, you can wash. There is a public toilet. Getting there is not easy. A couple of times a day, a boat from the Fish Factory goes 300 rubles per person in one direction. Or walk along the sea on the rocks 5 km. Or by a forest path from Stalin's Dacha. The atmosphere in the gorge is special, the people are friendly, the sea is clean.

I put 2 stars for the place itself, nature, sea, clean air, the bungalows are cool, made with a soul, but the staff, it is the Abkhazian staff, does not hide their attitude towards tourists, well, they just do not roll their eyes when they are addressed, and then it happens, the food is tasteless, ordinary, but expensive, for service is charged 10 percent, but at the same time the order is accepted only at the counter, no one will come to the table and no one will clean empty dishes from the table while you are sitting, unless you are an Abkhazian, of course....

July 2021. My companions and I were unlucky to visit this place!
It all started with a super long and extensive gathering of tourists in the surrounding areas. We set off from the Cypress Alley of Pitsunda. The bus managed to get to Akhaladze and take 2 tourists from there!!!! But the loss of at least 1.5 hours did not end there and continued with a visit to the honey and alcohol fair!!!
Upon arrival, a sad sight awaited us, the entire coastline was covered in debris, debris and splinters, as after the wreck of Robinson Crusoe's ship (as this place is called). Some shots of the 1972 film "The Life and Amazing Adventures of Robinson Crusoe" starring Leonid Kuravlev were shot here!
That's why it didn't work out to swim here, but it didn't stop some people!
There is nothing to watch and listen to on the territory itself, from the word at all. There is not much space, but in the main attraction, the cave - there is nothing remarkable and memorable! If someone still wants to go there, take care of comfortable, non-slip, non-slip shoes.
There is a cafe on site. Neither the variety, nor the prices, nor the service is spoiled! There are constant queues of arriving tourists, with always screaming little children.
If, after all the above, you want to visit this "paradise", you can take a boat in Pitsunda and come on your own and see everything with your own eyes! good luck to you
