The best cafe of national cuisine in Vitebsk!
It is worth immediately realizing for yourself that a self-service cafe, the flow of people is large, but the tables are vacated quite quickly. The food is always warm and fresh, because nothing is delayed due to high demand)
The portions are smaller than in the famous Cornflowers, but in this place the dishes are not so greasy and it seemed to us that the food is more delicious in general. Somehow homely or something)

We've been to this place. What can I say. If you are not allergic and eat everything, then it will suit you.
But! If you are allergic, then don't come in.
I'm gluten intolerant. I informed the seller about this and asked if they added flour to the meatballs. She said she didn't know the menu. They asked to ask the chefs. She asked and said they were adding. They asked about the chicken steak, which should be gluten-free in appearance. We asked the seller, she said very irritably that she did not know and rudely said everything was added. They asked about the soup. There was a pearl barley, which I can't eat either. As a result, we stayed hungry. The girl lays out the food and punches and warms the food at the checkout.

Two stars only for the atmosphere and the idea of this cafe. Otherwise, everything is bad. Firstly, for a place where food is heated in a microwave and you bring it to the table yourself, there is no corresponding price tag. Secondly, the cafe owner saves a lot on staff. Yes, they are:
• Lack of variety of dishes. You can be served only two types of soup, 3-4 types of the 2nd course, a small number of types of salads, and drinks.
• There is salt, but only one for the entire dining room. There is no pepper at all.
• There is also one toilet for the entire dining room.

They've gone down a lot. We were there in 2019 and now in June 2024. If it was even more or less cozy then, recent experience has shown that the institution does not even keep the brand "not bad". There are only two types of soup. The broth was frankly thick with water, chicken fibers were floating. Pancakes with meat only, heated from the microwave. There are no potato or mushroom toasts in sight.
"kKlduns", "babka" and other national cuisine did not even look in, although they remained on the signboard. The second courses were cutlets and three types of side dishes, that's all. A vegetable salad with a spoonful of beans is proudly called "Sicilian". The tables are dirty and sticky. Who cares- there is alcohol on sale, fruit drinks and compote, juice from boxes. By the way, it's not cheap, lunch for one in the region of 600 rubles for Russian money.

The "crown of creation" is the fish "Argentina": it's better to try it yourself, friends, it's something. One of the advantages is an excellent location: the historical center of the city, opposite the Vitebsk Bazaar. I will appeal, if possible, to the supervisory authorities of Belarus: it is not good to spoil the impression of a beautiful ancient city by such institutions.

The price tag is higher than the average in Vitebsk, due to its location in the very center of the city on the Dvina River. I haven't been there lately, but I used to come in quite regularly. Comfortably, in a folk style, there is its own flavor and almost exactly opposite the "cradle" of the "Slavic Bazaar in Vitebsk" of the famous amphitheater.
I associate "Bulbyanaya" with a woman of "Balzac's age" who came into the Vitebsk hotel, where I worked, and gave me an artificial flower, saying that she took "Bulbyanaya" from the table. To put it mildly, a "strange" woman with a spring "exacerbation" is remembered when I see a beautiful, carved signboard "Bulbyanoy".
