On November 5, 2023, we arrived in Brest for an excursion. We were walking around the city with my husband, decided to go to the Suitcase cafe. There were empty seats. The cafe was warm and cozy. friendly staff. It's called a dumpling bar. That's why we ate dumplings. I took it with smoked salmon in cream sauce. A very tasty portion of 250g costs 8 rubles . But I will recommend a cocktail to all the girls, in my opinion it is called a Cremberry, one was not enough for me! The taste is incomparable, with sourness and citrus notes - it just won my heart. My husband took the pies, they are small and of different shapes depending on the filling)) I took a pumpkin set, couldn't handle it- packed it with me, didn't forget to put a fork and a knife for a cake. Thank you very much. We will remember Brest with warmth😍

Buffet breakfast is 17 rubles per person, dinner is a la carte 11 rubles per person. Prices are current for November 2024. But, the most interesting thing is that under all these conditions, you can eat without staying in a hotel. That is, they just came from 07.30 to 10.00 and had breakfast. The price will be the same. The cafe is more on Sovetskaya Street, but I wanted to find it near the Bus Station to wait out the time before the bus arrives. And we were lucky, we found a wonderful cafe with an unusual name "Suitcase", at first we thought it was a store, because the name was written in large letters, and there was an inscription at the bottom:dumplings,... Of course, we need to work on advertising... If you are not a fan of snacking, then it will suit you. The Suitcase cafe exceeded all our family's expectations when, on 31.08, once at the train station, we decided to quickly refresh ourselves. The choice was initially made solely because of the close location. On July 14, 2024, my family and I visited Brest for the first time, with my 13-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son, got off the train and it started raining heavily, ran to the nearest cafe - it turned out to be the Suitcase cafe. We went into a cafe and were greeted by very pleasant waiters, they even offered a blanket for the child to keep warm, I was touched, then we ordered soup for the child, as it was hot, they even offered to throw an ice cream to cool the soup faster. The dumplings are delicious, and the pies are great too. Thanks a lot to the waiters. We were warmed, fed, and served at the highest level. I think the institution is too overrated. We went in the evening on 04.01.2024 I wanted to have dinner and taste the national cuisine. There were no pies praised in the reviews. The dumplings were not impressed at all. The menu indicates the dish as pancakes, in fact it turned out to be mashed potato pancakes and they were burnt. The service is on the 3rd, the waitress girls seemed so tortured and sad that it seemed a little more and they would cry. Maybe it was just the New Year holidays that had such an impact? But the food is very tasty, the portions are large. Some items are really inexpensive when compared with Minsk, but some are at the level of the capital's network food outlets (it just gives the impression of a lower cost due to a reduced portion, take the same draniki). Again: when you get attention from the waiters, they will be as polite and friendly as possible. I strongly recommend a buffet breakfast for 13 rubles if you stay in Molodezhnaya. Everything is very, very tasty, and most importantly satisfying. What you need to recharge your energy for the day :)

We chose the place because of the 5* rating. we received: - boorish waiters who do not know what they have / do not have on the menu; - cold cutlet in a business lunch and unsalted side dish; - the 1st guest's business lunch was already fully served and it was eaten, and the second guest still has not brought the only ordered dish - dumplings; - 30 minutes of waiting for drinks (coffee and lemonade) that were ordered with the meal and brought after everyone had eaten. Okay, we had a snack somewhere else. But we came here for dinner anyway. And now, actually, about the changes. The establishment, which positions itself as a "dumpling bar", could not offer anything from dumplings and dumplings except for poultry dumplings. The rest is "over." Okay, we took all the same things + draniki (well, at least they seemed to remain unchanged). Tea with sea buckthorn 395 grams was ordered from the drinks. But they obviously brought a smaller capacity. And when the guys at the next table saw another drink in a large glass, they asked the waitress if she had made a mistake. And they heard stupidly, "we just don't have big glasses." A strange explanation. At least I thought of bringing a second cup of tea after that. In general, we agreed that we don't come here anymore.

Unfortunately, the impression was spoiled after they brought a meager portion of cold borscht, half of the portion was occupied by a bone. I also didn't like that the food wasn't taken out to everyone at once. For example, the soup was served first to the son of the son, then 5 minutes later to the second son, and so on. The second one was taken out the same way, as a result, everyone sat and watched me eat.
