I have repeatedly heard about this place as a very authentic courtyard, like the St. Petersburg ones. And it is considered a tourist attraction. I went to this place on purpose, but only the sign on the building says that it is a landmark. The rest is terrible: the pungent smell of garbage and landfills is immediately noticeable. Inside the courtyard, everything is scattered and unkempt. I would like this place to be put in order, either some kind of cafe, pub, or simply improved, like Vilnius or Grodno. It is clear that there are many more such places, but I would like to remember the Port Arthur courtyard in Bobruisk in addition to the fortress.
The old historical center of the city with its own architectural features.
It is quite interesting to look here and take a look, especially for the younger generation.
I still remember how such buildings existed in many places of the city and gave it its own peculiarity.
I've known the yard since childhood, my school district. It looks much better now than it did 20 years ago (Port Arthur used to be the bottom of the city). But this is a historical center, several movies have been shot, this place is special, great!
I joined the sights of Bobruisk, but in general an ordinary house with a courtyard)

It is a real treasure for lovers of history and architecture. Walking through this amazing place, I was struck by the beauty and grandeur of the ancient buildings, each of which carries a piece of history and culture. Charming facades, unique details and architectural solutions create a unique atmosphere of antiquity and grandeur. I recommend everyone to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the past and enjoy the beauty of historical buildings in this unique place!
If it wasn't for Yandex Navigator, I would never have thought that this house is Port Arthur)) But entering the courtyard, it really feels like time travel is taking place)) Atmospheric👌👍
The old atmospheric courtyard is a favorite place for photo shoots in the city. The building itself is beautiful, mysterious, of course, the appearance is spoiled by the windows already changed there by the residents, constantly polluted by the courtyard, eternally dissatisfied residents. I would like to show respect to each other - preferably at least not to litter!
It's a cool courtyard, a bit like St. Petersburg. A cool red brick house that smells of history. There are several versions of where this name came from. According to the first legend, this is a fortress house named after the city of Port Arthur. The building is really built around the perimeter, forms a rectangle, and from the courtyard there are two entrances and exits located opposite each other. That is, if these "gates" are closed, then the house will really turn into an impregnable fortress. And it was built during the Russian-Japanese War, when the defense of the city of Port Arthur was well known.
According to the second version, before the revolution there was a brothel here, which was kept by someone named Arthur.
An ordinary courtyard, which is the only one in Bobruisk and looks like St. Petersburg courtyards. It is a pity for the residents of this courtyard, who have to put up with this "landmark" of the city.
There's not much to see. Yes, there is a certain strangeness of the enclosed space, the old brick is interesting, but there are many similar courtyards in other cities.
To be in Bobruisk on an excursion and not enter this courtyard means not to visit Bobruisk. It's like watching the TV series "Liquidation" without the Odessa dialect) The place is very atmospheric, conveys the Jewish flavor of the city. It is located near the Jewish center of the city and the Beaver
It's just someone's living yard. There is nothing tourist there (except history). Oh, no... There is a sad cat there. It's amazing in general that everything in Bobruisk is completely nullified. And neither history, nor public facilities, nor just places of power and inspiration (embankments, beautiful parks, panoramas) are present in the city at all 🤔😔
An ordinary courtyard made of very steep bricks, thick walls, if you close the arches there will be a fortress with an inner courtyard, it's a pity that it is not being restored (((
An interesting building, with an enclosed courtyard inside. There are entrances to residential entrances from the courtyard, some of them are open to access. If you look inside, everything is very old, strongly touched by time
