I really liked it , we will definitely stop again . A huge building, three floors have been restored, the rest are being slowly put in order, an elegant location, a responsive administrator, clean, it is clear that people are trying to revive this colossus, breathe life into it. Yes, the elevator only goes up , but to go down on foot is not to go up , probably some fastidious guests might not like something else . But there is one big plus, when you move in here, you get into the recent past , everything reminds you of a huge , friendly country that life was in full swing here and this hotel was inhabited to the brim . I repeat, the room is clean , everything you need is there , it was very surprised and pleased with the down pillows , we slept like at home . Breakfast is served in the morning, Internet is only available in the lobby, parking is available. Sometimes we all dream of returning to childhood or adolescence , at least for a short time , to feel that atmosphere of carelessness , those smells , that lightness when everything is ahead, then you are here , check in and do not find fault with the little things . 100₽ for a double room and the opportunity to spend the night in the museum is for free!
we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights, the room is small but cozy, with a fresh renovation, a TV in the room, a new refrigerator, a kettle, shampoo, liquid soap were given on request, the room is quiet!!!!, my husband and I slept very well, the linen was clean, we did not take breakfast, but they offered it at the reception, there is hot water, the Internet pulls badly from the cons, but they apologized, they said they were pulling optical fiber, in principle it is not critical, the hotel is being renovated (but it was very quiet!!) and there is still no air conditioning, but you can also survive, you slept with the window open, there is no exit to the balcony and this is for the best (there will be no tobacco smoke in the rooms) ,the elevator lifts only up (it is easier to go down) we lived on the 3rd floor, after reading bad reviews, we drove cautiously, but everything turned out to be very good,!! we washed up, slept well, walked around the city, saw a gorgeous museum, other attractions, a hotel in the heart of the old town, I recommend it!
Cons: it was expensive for us to pay 80 rubles per room, you need to drain the water for a long time to get hot water (because most of the hotel is not inhabited), there was not always an employee at the reception, we had to wait when checking in. The bedclothes did not seem to be washed (this point is questionable), clean, but there were spots (not from us). The elevator works only for climbing, we went down ourselves.
Advantages: location in the center, near a pedestrian street, new bed, mattress and modern bedding. The room is renovated, except for wallpaper and parquet.
In general, it is quite cozy, I liked it more than I didn't like it.
Once a good hotel, as you can see. The trouble is with her management, who don't care about the convenience of the guests. ..
They don't want to fix anything, although the prices are high. I had to look for another hotel urgently. I read reviews about her later; there was no water in the rooms, and there is no elevator, the elevator only works upwards, the dirt as it was, has not gone anywhere. And these are reviews from at least two years ago. Gentlemen, there is no money to maintain seven (or more) floors, use two, but put them in order. Make some water, please spend it. The hotel is located in a convenient location. The city center. There is a beautiful pedestrian zone nearby, a good starting point for visiting other cities of Belarus. Don't disgrace Alexander Grigoryevich, for Christ's sake.
For the atmosphere and if you want to spend the night in the 80s, then the best place to do it. The rooms are inexpensive, but very old furniture, TV, bathroom, Windows, etc. In winter, the option is not the best. We spent the night recently for one night, because there was no time to look for something better ... 1 time is possible)
I traveled a lot, but this place cheered me up. Figs with him that the elevator does not work, figs with him that there is no water and does not even float that the rooms are from the 80s, figs with him that we started to be evicted at 11 am, although it was paid until 12, figs with him that they send you to the reception in a rough form, figs with him that the director with the wildest fumes, they can't give the task, there are no checks, the wheelchair user was given a room on the 7th floor without an elevator, figs with him that we found the elevator ourselves, working, but official, though it was a quest that one, figs with him that the hotel was closed at 12 at night and my aunt went to bed................. But the impressions of this place will stay with me forever!
We had a rest in Pinsk from 13.07 to 14.07. We decided to stay here. The reviews were scary, but we decided to take a chance)
We took a suite (160 rubles per day), probably that's why everything we complained about in the reviews did not affect us. The room was cleaned, the bed was clean; towels, bathrobes, soap and shampoo are all in place. The hot water was, albeit intermittently, sometimes heated for a long time. The hotel is quiet, there were practically no guests. I liked the interior and the atmosphere. The style is for an amateur, but it resonated with us)
If you are going to stay at this hotel, then we will vouch for the suite! I'm attaching photos of the view from the balcony.
Before the trip, I read reviews of this hotel, I was ready for the worst)))
The problem of Pinsk is the almost absence of hotels (there are a couple of small ones, but they are always busy), and tourists, like it or not, have to settle in a huge Pripyat.
Well, what can I say... A time machine, I was transported back to my carefree Soviet childhood))).
Apparently, the owner is changing, the renovation in the lobby from the reception is beautiful, but all the beauty ends when you start climbing the stairs (the elevators do not work), and God forbid that you do not go to the top floor.
The smell of an old house, loose parquet, old cracked creaking doors. There is no hot water, the Internet is only at the reception, the TV shows 2 hissing channels (in the evening we turn on the same morning frozen picture with an aunt and a weather forecast), there is only one Pinsky channel with the program "on request..", where relatives pass congratulations and songs of Stas Mikhailov to each other. Or there is music in the background and pictures of the city from surveillance cameras are being transformed.
The rooms do not correspond to the pictures on the site - there is beauty and repair for 90 hares, in fact you are given a battered room, untouched by repair for 40 years.
No, no question - make the room price 40 or at least 50 rubles, and no one will come to your reception and complain about the terrible living conditions.
But 100 rubles for 1 night in such a room is, of course, arrogance! Well, tourists do not sleep with cars, so they have to ...
So, comrades, if anyone decides to settle here, take a renovated room, this is the 3rd floor, by the presence of plastic windows you can see from the street where there is repair, and where horror is horror.
The Soviet hotel, which has not been renovated for twelve years. Of the 9 floors, only 3 and 6 are inhabited. The rest look like an abandoned building.Everything was killed, 2 rooms were booked, the second one is even worse, even the windows are from Soviet times, wooden, dirty. The room has a worn parquet floor, the taps are falling off in the bathroom. In one room, only hot water flowed from both taps, in the other only cold water. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, mosquitoes and various insects fly in. Nearby is a local recreation center, where on weekends there is a disco and drunken fights until 7 am.Of the advantages, only a convenient location, close to the center, a tourist street, a view of the river.
Convenient location, cheap, arrived ahead of check-in time, settled in without problems and any additional charges, the staff is excellent, very friendly. There is a smoking room on the floor, there is no need to go down anywhere. The water was hot too, but you had to wait until it warmed up. The room itself was warm, clean, new furniture, kettle, refrigerator, everything is working. The hotel has Wi-Fi. Of course, there are not enough repairs, the corridors are gloomy, the elevators are very old, but they are slowly updating something, in general everything is not so scary)
This is not a hotel. This is a flophouse. The elevators do not work at all, while there is a check-in on the 6th floor and above. There is no more hot water than there is. The rooms are squalid, dirty, and stripped. My feet stick to the floor. In general, Yandex's assessment is fair.
In general, the lack of attention of the city administration to this "hotel" is surprising. This requires constant checks from the sanitary supervision authorities, fire inspection - first of all - and checks from all other various supervisory authorities.
We stayed for one night. Everything was clean, including the bed. The room needs renovation, everything is very old, in places stripped. The bathroom is nice. The view was of the river. Nicely. The location of the hotel is excellent.
The location is excellent, located in the center, where there are many different restaurants, cafes and bars, also within walking distance of the pier, from where the pleasure boat departs. The staff is friendly. The room had a view of the river. The room has a double bed, TV, bathroom (not very), refrigerator (not checked) . The room has not been renovated for a long time. There was also no warm water. The elevator only goes up. The parquet is creaking everywhere. It's tolerable for one night. Suitable for fans of the Soviet retro style)))
Mixed feelings, of course. On the one hand, the gorgeous location, the riverbank, the embankment, the pedestrian street, the establishments, absolutely all the sights are within walking distance. On the other hand, the condition of the hotel is of course very deplorable, at very low prices. The cost is average, as everywhere else, and the hotel is from the USSR, so far there seems to be enough money to repair the lobby, the elevators are ancient, only one works, and only up, down only on foot. The corridors are also about 80 years old... The staff is polite, the rooms are clean, there was no hot water, but we were put in a room with a boiler, so in short, 4 out of 5, and that's for the location and staff... The complex is large and promising, but there are plenty of repairs there.
If it were possible to put -100*!!!!! It is better to see once than to spend the night in a so-called hotel (and as it turned out, this is not the worst room,😱😱😱).This number was given to us (apparently out of great love for our employees) by our organization during the visit to the exhibition. The attraction of unheard-of generosity is 65 rubles ($20) for one bed per day (double room). But, most importantly, after all, impressions????
The Pripyat Hotel is located on the embankment of the city of Pinsk. An ordinary, outwardly unattractive building. When we went inside, we were pleasantly surprised: the lobby is decorated very beautifully and stylishly. Unfortunately, you can't say that about the number. Standard, in the truest sense of the word. And an unpleasant surprise - the lack of hot water. Why did you put five stars? The fact is that the hotel is being renovated, the restaurant is not working. I think we are in the period of perestroika. But the staff is very polite and attentive, answer all questions, try to help. And of course, a very convenient location, here you have the embankment, the main pedestrian street, and the market nearby. It remains to change the name and finish the repair.
There is no staff, or rather there is none at all. An admin is sitting at the reception, 2 days in a row with a strong smell of alcohol and shaking hands. She does not know how to work, she could not sell for 1.5 days, although there is an opportunity, she gave the number more expensive, although she initially named a much smaller amount. The room itself is not bad, but for 105 rubles it's just a robbery. In addition, there is no heating on October 30, an electric heater was installed in the room, which contradicts fire safety. I highly recommend the hotel, it is better to rent an apartment for daily rent.
It is impossible to find this hotel on the navigator. On the phone, we were irritably answered to call back in about 15 minutes. Considering that we were looking for a place of refuge due to an absolutely unsuitable apartment booked for a daily basis, we were completely shocked by the lack of an opportunity to spend the night in this city in normal conditions. Therefore, instead of sightseeing in Pinsk, we were looking for an opportunity to spend the night outside. Thank God, they found it in Nesvizh. Thus, in our route Minsk, Grodno, Brest, Pinsk, Nesvizh, Minsk -it was Pinsk that left the most unpleasant impression.
Disgusting. A pretentious lobby, a good location and... that's it. Filth, stink, sovkovost, disregard for the attitude of the staff. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, the water pressure is absolutely dead, the air conditioners (if they are, of course) do not work, the elevator runs - attention! - only up (?!). The administrator is absent during working hours, solves her personal issues and is offended if she is "disturbed" by requests to fulfill her immediate duties. I strongly do not recommend it, especially in hot weather!
There is No Good host! The location is excellent. The hotel is undergoing renovation and the elevator works only upwards. The restaurant is under renovation, there is no breakfast.
The elevator was not working at the time of the stay. To make the water warm, it needs to be drained for 10 minutes. Upon check-in, a wild cigarette smell was killed throughout the 3rd floor (perhaps the maids smoked while cleaning). A separate cost (although not much) for an unguarded public parking lot. So the room is like a room. Refrigerator, TV (3 channels). A definite plus is the location.
The hotel is just TRASH! We came from Vitebsk for work, and since the hotel "Sport" and "Aelita" where we stayed before were busy, we stayed in this "wonderful" place. Bribed with photos of normal rooms on the site and a good location. We got a room on the 6th floor, room 617. We opened the door and took a long time to come to our senses. Dust, dirt, mugs
and plates are not washed. There are some sausage skins in the corners. WiFi goodbye, on the 6th floor it does not catch ✌️😁 The TV shows three hissing channels. Wretched wallpaper that is stained. There's someone else's hair on the bathroom floor. The curtain on the window is gray with a cigarette hole (photo is offered). The curtain is generally half off the hooks. The beds live their own lives, moving on the slippery floor as soon as you sit on them. There are no bedside tables, there is no closet (the owners tried to portray something in the likeness in the hallway, but it did not work out, they were squeamish to hang their things there (photo attached), they had to put things on a dusty windowsill. The lamp on the ceiling is all covered with flies. The common corridor is smoky and looks like the most evil place in the city of Pinsk and plus there is no light. The lady at the reception (check-in 06/18/2024) well, a wonderful miracle. They called her, complained about the room, flew in on a broomstick with the cleaner, and started looking for a monkey in this "ideal" room. As a result, she snorted, only saying like "what do you want from a room for 90 rubles a day" (apparently the richest woman in Pinsk, for whom 90 rubles is not money) came out without even apologizing. But most of all, I finished off the refrigerator... People, everyone who will be in this room, open the freezer and be enchanted by the mold in it (photo is offered)... 😵💫We're freaking out....Due to our work, we have been traveling all over Belarus for several years, there is something to compare it with, and this is the most miserable hotel that we have met. If you don't want to spoil your mood, look for something else, just not this hellish place. This is the first hotel in three years that we have written a review for. Dear owners of this place, well, you can't do that! The hotel is the face of the city. And you spoil the impression of your beautiful city. I hope you will fix everything.
Guests of the city, take care of your money and keep positive emotions, avoid the Pripyat hotel.
Booked a room for November 7, 2024 for 2 nights on November 5, confirmed the reservation. On November 7, at 18:30, I arrived from Minsk to this hotel. I was alarmed by the darkness and the closed door. I called the administrator for half an hour. It turned out that the hotel had been closed for 4 days and they had nowhere to place me. The receptionist, promising to find me a room elsewhere, just disappeared. The terrible irresponsibility and sloppiness of the hotel administration is simply off the scale.
The rooms are small, the audibility is very good, there is parquet in the corridor, so you can always hear when someone walks down the corridor. To a certain extent, there was no drinking water and glasses, there was also one set of towels for two and there was no shampoo and soap. I definitely won't stop here a second time.
Two stars for the fact that I didn't spend the night in the open air after all. And there's nothing else to put a positive review for. There wasn't even any hot water. And there's nowhere to heat it. No kettle, nothing. The bathroom door creaks so that probably the whole floor hears. The walls in the bathroom are dirty. The elevator only goes up. It's a good thing I didn't have a suitcase. That is, there is an opportunity to drive up with a suitcase, and it must be dragged down the stairs. The buttons on the seventh floor, which can be used to call the elevator, do not work.
In such a great location of the city, such a disgrace. The hot water will go in half an hour, the elevator is only going up, down by yourself, there is no remote control to the TV, shampoo, soap , pasta, forget about it at all.Everything is patched , dirty , stained , etc. Breakfast costs space, Parking cars too.It 's more like a good old dorm .
Conflicting feelings were aroused by this place. Upon arrival, there was no hot water, 21st century! The absence was compensated by sparkling drinks Ala champagne for breakfast. The elevators are not working. There are rooms with renovation. The TV can be said to show nothing either. The kitchen is good. The chef and the manager are the fire. But there's a lot of work to do. But the staff is trying very hard! In general, I liked Pinsk.
One good thing is the location. The rooms require serious attention. The elevators are only going up. The shower is barely cold. The mirror from the bathtub was lying in the closet - the mount was broken (there is no owner). You can't go out on the balcony without rearranging the furniture. In general, with the same conditions, I will not stop by and I do not advise others!
I give four stars, as they strive to improve the quality of the premises, in the process of repairing the rooms. There is not enough air conditioning in the room, mosquito nets on the windows. Polite staff.
It's a terrible hotel. Everything is dirty, dusty, and cobwebs weigh. The bathroom is a separate kind of horror. The washbasin and faucet are leaking, the bathtub is the size of a baby, the toilet does not flush normally and there is a smell after the first hike. You still need to wait for hot water by draining the water for an hour. The photos do not correspond to reality. In one word, it's just terrible!!!
Plus!
There you need to make movies and do dark photo shoots. A place with a very oppressive atmosphere, but there is a grand piano in the hall😂
Everything would be really fine, but!, prices can't be like that in any way. Half as much (at a discount, because there is a repair), and then maybe the reviews will not be so harsh.
A terrible hotel (if you can call it that)
The photos on the site do not match reality at all. The rooms are dirty and dirty
I rented a suite, I just had to go in. There are a lot of bugs on the bed, there was apparently no repair twelve years ago
The only thing that was done beautifully was the reception. That's it.
The price does not correspond to the quality at all. Half of the hotel is not working, the rest of the rooms do not seem to be cleaned for several months. The pillowcases were from different bedding sets. Half of the radiators were cut off, they slept fully clothed. The photos of the rooms on the website do not correspond to reality. Full immersion in the last century is guaranteed. I want to believe in some kind of renovation and repair. Apparently, everything rests on the lack of alternatives. Of the advantages, only the location in the center
The rooms are old, the hot water appeared on the third day. The food is delicious everywhere in Belarus, but this is the only place that was an exception.
Negative impressions. There is no hot water. Probably, in this regard, they do not put bags of shampoo and gel. The rooms are not cleaned. During the week of stay, the garbage was not even cleaned once. I had to put it out in the hallway. There are 4 channels on the TV, but almost nothing can be made out due to interference. The refrigerator wasn't working in my room either. For breakfast - a portion of some porridge and bread with a piece of butter for tea. No sausage, no fried egg (the simplest). Moreover, breakfast starts at 8.00, when business travelers should already be at work. One morning, breakfast was not served until 8.20 a.m. We had to limit ourselves to one tea. The cost of a single room is 80 rubles. With such a service, it should be twice as cheaper. I do not recommend it.
The hotel is of course very old, the rooms are dead, of course you can't tell from the first floor, everything is very beautiful there, there are no words for the reception, it's beautiful. But if you come to see the city and places, then just spend the night, the norms. The elevators don't work well, but the reception staff is very polite and ready to help with both an iron and a hairdryer, there are clean towels. There is no closet in the room. The bed is clean. I would like such a hotel in such a beautiful city to allocate money for room repairs.
Very mixed impressions - of course, for those who are used to normal service - a lot will seem strange, but the staff in the person of the only administrator is so sweet and helpful that you start not to notice that the elevator only works upwards, that the rooms leave much to be desired, that the breakfasts are just terrible. But a beautiful view from the window, all the sights, including the embankment of the Pina river and shops within walking distance, a wonderful hall with a grand piano. Downstairs, next to the hotel, there is a restaurant with good and inexpensive cuisine. In general, you can stay for a couple of nights, and the city itself is very nice
I often travel around the country and often staying in different hotels - and much more expensive and much cheaper than this institution! And even in hotels and inns for much less money it was much more comfortable. And so in order: 1- the lower floors are not inhabited (sort of like repairs), while you can only take the elevator up and down on foot... Neither age nor baggage matters. Naturally, no one warns about this in advance. Help with bogazh is also not offered))) 2 - there are 2 towels in the room. Always and in all hotels 3... 2 small and 1 large. 3 - there are also always bags (bottles) with shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. You won't find it here! 4- the photo of the soul was strengthened... Shower mount on the faucet... You have to hold the shower with one hand, wash with the other. Although, maybe I just don't know how to use it. 5 - there was no closet in my room. There were 2 broken hangers hanging on the door. 6 - breakfast is not provided! The kitchen is under renovation 7 - the cherry on the cake!!! Apparently, before settling in, the room was ventilated and, since there are no bars on the windows, bugs flew into the room. Definitely not cockroaches, but big ones. For an hour I fished them out and threw them out the window! Then I itched on my nerves for another hour!
If you are bored - this is the place for you! For 70p a day - I couldn't get enough of it!!!
It is a pity that we did not look at the reviews about this hotel in advance.
We checked in later in the evening and surprisingly , there was a queue at check - in .
The condition of the hotel is certainly terrible, to put it mildly, it feels like it's about to fall apart.
Everyone was settled on the same floor .
There is no hot water and they do not warn about it .
There is no soap and paper .
The elevator only goes up and that's where its abilities end
Is it really impossible to make something decent out of a hotel that is in a good place?
No repairs, no water, no cleaning, no hygiene supplies.
Nightmare
This hotel, like the city of Pripyat, is a real abandonment. The children were delighted, they thought it was a themed hotel. 6 of the 9 floors are preserved, breakfasts for survival and much more can be thought up by turning on the imagination)
The staff is polite and does everything possible for a comfortable stay. You go out into the city and immediately surrounded by cafes, a pedestrian street and an embankment, a very convenient location.
It couldn't be worse! Our hotel reservation was not marked, it was not there! For about 40 minutes, the administrator found out which rooms had which beds (separate or shared), and then it turned out that he did not know which of them were available! The hotel is very old and requires careful renovation! The elevator works only on the rise! There was no heating, WiFi did not catch up to the 6th floor! It turns out that he was not there!
The rooms are decorated normally, the bathrooms are fine! The TV didn't show! When we were indignant at check-in, a half-drunk man came out to us and introduced himself as the Director of the hotel! He started saying that everything was fine, just a problem and tried to shake my hand)😂
It's gloomy. The scoop is 120%. There are a minimum of guests in the huge complex. There is no hot water in principle. There is no power supply. There is no Wi-Fi. One plus is the price, well, and the available rooms.
The best location in the city, the most complete range in terms of comfort and room categories and cost! A sumptuous hot breakfast!attentive staff, beautiful grand piano, lobby. River views from the room, balconies. Parking (availability). It is possible with animals. Room service of food. Lunch and dinner are buffet style.they will settle and feed you at any time. In case of disconnection of hot water, there are electric boilers.
The advantage of this hotel is a view of the river (a walk along the embankment is a separate happiness) and access to the pedestrian area, i.e. the historical center. They say that "Pripyat" is the border between the old and the new city.
By number. The bed and towels are white and clean. The refrigerator is working. There is a kettle.
BUT
there was no hot water: cold water flowed from both taps. The kettle was very welcome.
And there was no soap-shampoo-gel. Just a bottle of liquid soap.
Breakfast is provided. But the restaurant did not inspire confidence with its appearance ((((
It's a terrible nightmare. There is no hot water. No one warned about this in advance, although the staff proves the opposite. The elevator goes only up, down on foot, please. Repairs are generally a separate topic. It doesn't seem to have been there since the hotel was built. There is only 1 outlet for the entire room. The light in the hallway is off (but sometimes it flashes, apparently there are problems with the wiring). The bedclothes are washed, old and as if not fresh, with someone's hair. The bathroom and toilet are dirty, with rusty stains. Of the advantages ?) Reception!) It is fresh, renovated, the price is too high. In general, I would not even recommend it for free.
