Beware.
They try to scam foreign students out of every penny they can. Go to another university if you can or avoid paying in full in case you need to leave Belarus or some emergency happens. The people running this place are a bunch of con-artists using the loopholes in the onerous massive contract you sign as a student to hold and often keep your money.
Do not trust their administrative people.
One of the biggest language universities in the world 🌍. Great place and you will be in touch with people from over the world. Be ready to make new friends and live new experiences. Добро пожаловать в Беларусь, добро пожаловать в МГЛУ!!!
1st year of PF, everything is super, the teaching staff was pleased, good food in the dining room, the building is freshly renovated, most of the classrooms are spacious, it's a pity that there are no air conditioners:(
My alma mater. My favorite university. I want to come back here again and again. Special thanks to the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture, especially Marina Sergeevna and Sergey Evgenievich. I love you!!!!
I can't bring myself to call this place a university. They don't give proper education here, and it's better to enroll in language courses at some school and that's it. Physical training is paid, even if you are just late for 5-10 minutes, they already put the NKU and tell you to come and work later. In the first pairs of learning a new language, they already give grades for reading texts and lower the grade for stuttering. Here you will not be given knowledge of the language, but new mental problems. Teachers teach based on materials from the early 2000s and the information there is no longer relevant. About food and toilet paper is generally a separate topic. When you study in the 2nd shift, there is nothing left. After 3 months of study, I can say that the nerves spent on the admission campaign were not worth it, and it's better to think 10 times before you go here to enroll
A friend was going to come here and yes, I was interested, I was looking for videos where it would be told about the real life of students here, but the bloggers described that if you don't want to learn a language, then they won't force you here, you'll just end up with low grades. I can't understand, that is, in one of the best universities in the country, will they expel underachieving students? And they pull up to the diploma like Ptushnikov
Specifically about the German language faculty, I can say that the way they will pull you into basic knowledge there and help you develop in the language, they will not teach you this anywhere else! I graduated from this university, now I work directly with German and in German.I'm sending my sister there this year to study English.Regarding the scoop program, etc., I disagree, because our teachers have always done everything possible to diversify the program, videos, auditions, texts from authentic publications.Everyone who wanted to, those who learned the language at a decent level, who did not want to get their 4.5 and thanks for that) The university also provides excellent opportunities for socialization, as many events and competitions are held. The guys who were active with us extended a really very busy student life.I am generally silent about draniki in Espiranto , who knows -he knows 😂and yes , you begin to understand and appreciate many moments after graduating from university 🫶
Do you want to learn Chinese as a second foreign language? Enroll in the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture. There will be no Chinese at other faculties, even at the linguistic support of intercultural communications. There are not enough Chinese teachers here (no matter how strange it may sound, after all, this is the best linguistic university in the country... Or not). Well, or go to the GRSU, there are a lot of Chinese there
I wanted to come here for a reduced period of time for a full-time job after a correspondence course for a document specialist, it's a pity the commission said they were taking a short course. the term is only after the linguistic and humanitarian college and no one else.
My daughter is studying. Everyone is happy. Great teachers are working. As nonresidents, we were given a dormitory (the block has everything we need for a student). My daughter says that the food in Esperanto is delicious. I recommend the university.
The teacher is clearly the person who makes you want to pick up the documents and avoid the university in the future. There is a very ambivalent attitude towards students. When one says in plain text, "I'm not ready, let's retake," he pulls it out with all his might, and when literally the next student answers specifically on the ticket, "not that, retake." Are you serious? I think the management would do well to pay attention to the incompetence of this teacher long ago.

Why does the leading university of the country not have enough money for banal toilet paper???
This is a mockery of students, I'm sorry, but to sit for half a year at uni and never go to the toilet is OK in your opinion?
In your opinion, students are robots who do not need to satisfy basic physiological needs??
Okay, when there was a second shift, I could find an excuse for this, that arrogant people from dormitories are pulling all the paper for themselves (it's a shame), and now, on the first shift, what happens?
Why in the morning, when coming to the university, it is impossible to find any paper in the booths, or even paper towels for hands (this is indeed the case, after running around 5 floors of the building, exactly nothing was found)?
Okay, again, you can justify that you did not have time to report at 8 a.m., we understand everything, but the situation does not change during All day long.
Not only do people pay a lot of money to their alma mater, but they also can't go to the toilet properly, God forgive me

A place where you will have money sucked out by a vacuum cleaner)) The rigor of workings and passes, as in honey. Even if you're wearing a headscarf, be kind enough to pay for the passes AGAIN. There are no normal days off, one Sunday) They don't always put them on holidays either. The exam schedule is set as well as notified a week before them. One plus is that there are several teachers who will really teach you something.… I do not recommend this place to anyone, you will get stuck here and you will not get knowledge as such.
There are long queues for admission, there are not enough employees, the organization is suffering, you will work on improving the productivity of departments at the university!
My first impression was terrible. She settled her niece in a hostel (which is located at Masherov 60).I understand the payment is not expensive, but why bully the children so much.Question to the management:why can't we at least kill cockroaches in the summer (there are no students yet).I'm not talking about the scary environment (starting from the floor and ending with the walls).I went in there and saw these mustachioed, creepy cockroaches and thought it was good that they didn't bite. And this is in our time.I hope that the management will fix this error.
It is interesting to study, students have intelligence and good upbringing, very intelligent teachers, ask a lot, but then the level of knowledge is very decent, several cafes, but only one has delicious food (Esperanto), you don't hear anything about internships abroad, and there is no information anywhere, in general, the university is good, with an excellent material base, by warm audiences
I signed up for a retraining program. Wasted time. The teachers are "tired", they do not interact with the audience in any way. What they teach is poorly applicable, Shakespeare's language is no longer spoken like that, modern vocabulary is not taught at all. I shouldn't have read the reviews about them right away. If you want to learn a language, you definitely don't have to go here. If you want to get a degree, look for other options.

There are no particularly good impressions of the university, the training program is a scoop, there is not enough practice, if there are no connections, there are no prospects. The cost of training is unreasonably high, 5 years of training is a lot. All students are equal here, but more equal students get dorms in the studio.in the village (it is clear why) the rest are forced to live on Masherov or in a klapovnik on a locksmith, which is even worse. in the year of my admission, there was no competition as such: everyone who was willing to pay was taken for a fee, even with CT scores below the threshold. I came here and, fortunately, after the 1st year I transferred to another university and graduated from it. There were problems with the management, they did not want to give me my own documents, although I needed them urgently, instead they began to tell everyone that students come to them to make a row. Good memories are associated only with some teachers (I don't know if they are working now) for this 1 star + a good library of good books and normal repairs
I studied here. A good university, all the conditions for obtaining a high-quality education, but on condition that a person wants to gain knowledge. Excellent Esperanto cafe with very tasty pastries.
Most teachers have forgotten what conscientious work and learning are, there are those who teach very well, and these people are remembered for a lifetime! You can count them on the fingers of one hand
The dean 's office deserves a separate topic and the attitude towards students as children, while the world is developing and going into the dark stagnates in a scoop
It's a pity that the best teachers were rejected. It is a pity that new teaching methods are not being improved. It is a pity that the online training of the MGLU turned out to be so ugly and meaningless. It is a pity that instead of training, reports are intensively compiled exclusively on student absences and punishments. It's a pity that such a university was killed.
One asterisk is just to leave a comment. In reality, there is not even one.
It's a terrible university, I want to drop out of it every day. Now they have also increased the cost of education from scratch. Most of the decent teachers have quit, the program has not changed for decades. Don't come here.
Alma mater. Therefore, the most beloved university. Unlike many educational institutions where you can get lost, the location of the buildings is quite understandable here. The quality of education is at the level.
High quality of teaching, excellent pace, variety of material, teachers' interest in evaluating their work. To improve the level of language proficiency, I recommend it. Excellent teaching staff.
The work is not being done in any way, and if it is, then you will be made to feel guilty for interrupting such important people from small talk. In my opinion, the correspondence department does not know what kind of university and who the students are. At the beginning, nonresident students are assured that they can find out all the information by phone or on the website (for example, about the date of completion of the academic difference), and they also report that all this is around the end of May, but during the call it turned out that no one would tell anyone anything, and even the difference had to be completed a long time ago! This is the attitude of the university towards its students (it is impossible to find information on the date of completion on the website and in general anything for a correspondence student). I don't want to take the documents, too much money and time has been spent, the 3rd year is still...
the location of the buildings is not the most convenient - it is especially annoying when couples are standing in different parts of the building - try to make it. but not in different parts of the city, and thanks for that. narrow corridors are clearly a disadvantage - sometimes you can't break through the crowds of students during a break. I am glad that in addition to the main entrance there is another (open) one in building D. a good library, it is a pity that there are not enough textbooks for everyone. there is a reading room, printing (paid), kiosks (in buildings D and C), and several dozen computers, which is very convenient. There are also good canteens (3 pieces) in different buildings, but there is still a crush during breaks.
Terrible UNIVERSITY. The University's management is indifferent and conniving towards its students. The management does not allow you to study normally if you do not give a bribe. He calls the police and they beat the students in front of the teachers. There is no future for such a university.
MGLU is a wonderful modern university, it is all covered with free Internet access via Wi-Fi, even on the street around the university buildings there is a good signal level.
Very good linguistic training. Convenient location. There is a small chance to go on an exchange trip to study. It's a good building, the classrooms are never cold in winter.
I like everything very much. Excellent level of education, excellent specialties. Perfect transport links. My student daughter is happy, and I am even more so)))
Bottom of the bottom! The administration, which closed the doors and did not let its students out when riot police pressed them outside. The head of educational work of Puchen threatened to incite riot police against his own students, after which he did it. DON'T COME HERE. THIS is the worst UNIVERSITY on earth. Shame on you!!!!!!
Alma mater) I remember with nostalgia the fun times from session to session. There were many excellent teachers, to whom I am very grateful. Although there were also those that are the opposite.
I was here for an English course. The courses are inexpensive, the methods are Soviet, but the program is modern. They were worth their money, but there was also a benefit in fact. I increased my vocabulary and remembered grammar.
An educational institution with modern equipment, repairs, however, which is unlikely to be able to get through to get banal information even about studying...
In some faculties, you have to tear your ass so that any desire to live disappears. At the beginning of the second year, I just wanted to huddle in a corner and cry for a long time.
Of the obvious disadvantages: the extra lame location of the buildings, pairs scattered around these buildings, narrow corridors (which you can basically not walk through during a break, since you are stupidly carried by the crowd), endless queues in the dining room and at the cash register (which, by the way, plus everything else is also very funny and convenient (no) operating mode). There is no smoking room, there is nowhere to put it, students run into the courtyards, and then people from houses in this courtyard call the university and complain. The provision of textbooks is terrible, so terrible that you have one book per group.
In order to feel comfortable in this educational institution, you need to really love languages.
A wonderful dining room with the best pancakes in the world... It's just a pity that outsiders were banned from visiting it this year, and there was a minus for that (although for someone it's probably a plus)
