I didn't like the place in itself, despite my strong love for cats.
The room is very stuffy, cats are dying (the month of August), stench, a lot of children's drawings, but it looks a little paranoid in the compartment, the entrance is not cheap: 12 rubles per adult, there is not much to see.
The staff or the owners are very friendly, some cats are friendly: they sit on their knees, they want to be stroked
Which is understandable in principle, because of the abundance of cats, there is a terrible smell, a huge minus
Well, the ticket price is not light
You can visit once, especially for lovers of cats and cats)) I was able to stay there for about three minutes because of the strong smell. You can also drink tea for free, but there is a cat tray nearby, so your appetite has not woken up
The idea is initially good, the implementation is so-so. It is better to visit on weekdays - there are fewer people and cats are more sociable.
Dignities:
* Mustachioed tailed friends themselves are one big advantage. There are already 18 of them in the museum for April 2021, and you can chat and play with them.
* A good exposition, a lot of interesting works on the cat theme. There is a lot to see for cat lovers.
* You can take photos on your mobile phone, it is possible to organize a professional photo shoot.
* There is a room where children can draw seals, and where children's drawings are posted.
Disadvantages:
* A rather poor set of souvenirs.
* The most unpleasant thing (why the low rating) is that there is no normal habitat for cats, they simply have nowhere to go during the influx of visitors, they are nervous on weekends and holidays. There is not enough gallery at a level above human height so that cats could not shy away from the museum under the feet of a crowd of visitors, but proudly walk, as befits a Koshchu. And, if desired, they could honor the visitors of the institution with their attention by going down below. Similarly, sleeping places, places of eating and drinking, as well as latrines should be inaccessible to visitors. Beds and houses are higher, at the gallery level and above, everything else is in a separate room(s), where cats can themselves get through the gallery through holes in the walls to eat, drink, recover, relax. Cats need a "TV": a window where you can look - I didn't notice this possibility either.
Before my eyes, two cats were trying to escape through the front door, and three more mustachioed cats were quietly sitting in the narrow corridor at the entrance to the utility room - so that the workers would let them hide there. That is, they were pretty fucked up.
All of the above is well implemented in St. Petersburg in the Kotokafe "Republic of Cats" on Yakubovich 10 (they were in 2015). I haven't been to a foundry in a similar institution.
I hope that the museum will have the opportunity to survive the pandemic and create comfortable human conditions for the main characters and inspirers of the exhibition. Would you send a couple of employees on a creative business trip to St. Petersburg, or what, but have you opened a target collection for the gallery and other tsarapoinfrastructure?..
Be sure to stop by and feed or just spend time surrounded by tailed ones. There are quite a lot of them here, all the seals have been inspected. You can also give someone a new house

A smelly little room for 15 rubles! The cats are all tortured and hid, the maximum is given to stroke and then not all. Children can be bitten and scratched if they are persistent with animals. There is a very strong smell of cat food and cat waste trays. There are a lot of drawings, but it's not worth it.
A cat shelter, there's not much left of the museum. If you are a contemplator, then you have nothing to do here. 3 stars for the social role, in general, the place does not represent anything
Terrible attitude towards customers!!!!! The opening hours of the museum are indicated from 11 o'clock. My two young children and I arrived at this museum at 11 a.m. everything was closed. We waited until 12 o'clock, and no one showed up. Builders working nearby say that this museum opens spontaneously. The children are upset, and so are the adults. There is no information on the website, on Instagram, the phone is disconnected. In general, he doesn't even deserve one star!!!!
I went there with my friends, we really liked it, just an indescribable atmosphere!
these cats are running back and forth, some are climbing on their knees, my feline heart is just delighted!

The word "museum" does not fit here from the word "at all". The entire exposition consists of about two dozen eternally sleeping cats (I have not seen a single awake one, the feeling that they are all "under something") and hundreds of drawings on a cat theme made by the visitors of the "museum" themselves, and a couple of showcases with cat figures. The aromas in the room are appropriate, it is difficult to withstand for more than 5 minutes, not to mention that something would be consumed in the "koto cafe" (cooler, single cups, tea bags and sweets, that's all the "cafe"). The ticket price is highly inflated, 12 Belarusian rubles.
I recommend taking a photo of the sign "KATA MUSEUM" (exactly through the "a", in Belarusian) and moving on.

Cats are either drugged, or sedated in their food or something like that. Cats sleep everywhere, do not react, even when they are turned over, or react minimally and continue to sleep. It's disgusting. And these people say that "before we give you the cat, we will interview you."
Closer to closing, the seals are no longer given a sedative and they begin to become adequate cats: they express their dissatisfaction, start brawling with each other, just run around and generally move around. And employees with a smile on their face at closing greet people who came at 19:00 and beyond, saying that the seals are more active now (in the evening). Well, of course they are active, but you, *dishonest people*, do not stuff them with pills. Why should they be quiet at night, you don't have visitors.
It's disgusting. Painfully. Low.
You have 2 people on shift, but you still don't have time to clean up the piss after the cats? I don't see anything complicated in this.
Not another foot, just to take the cat away from this torment.
There's nothing to worry about, about 7 mongrel cats...

I can't say anything about this place. An Auditor will come to check on you in the near future. They applied for this cafe and recorded the fact of the torment of cats and a disgusting brothel room. It's in the process, I hope all the kitties will be taken into good hands. And the cafe will be closed.
All cats are hiding or sleeping
It stinks wildly
There is a discount for students and schoolchildren
You can pet the seals or take them home for free)
The child will like it

In general, everything is fine, the cats are cute, but the tickets are expensive (1000 Russian rubles came out for a family of 3 people). This price includes tea in a kotokaf and sweets, but the smell of cat poop is such that the appetite disappears. There are many trays in each room, but they are all without filler. Seals just go to empty trays. At this price of an entrance ticket, they could fork out for filler, and cats and indoor floors should be washed more often. I am not allergic, we have 3 cats at home, but after half an hour of staying there, my eyes watered and ached from the acrid smell.
The cat Museum, that's a big word. But the direction of this organization is very good, well done, they attach seals, feed them. I couldn't stay there, the smell overpowered me, the children spent about half an hour there, called them and asked them to wash their hands, but they were simply treated with antiseptic, this is a huge minus. After spending time with the cat, it is necessary to organize hand washing with soap and water, and not rub dirt on your hands
Pleasant administration, a lot of cats and live communication with animals, opportunities to draw and have fun for children, however, due to the specifics of the institution, it smells bad and is not very clean, it also happens to be cold and blowing because of open windows, which is not very pleasing, and so the institution is excellent if you do not have a cat -- come and play with them, or maybe you'll take someone with you
Thanks to all the cats for taking a nap on my lap. The best tactic is to come with sweets, or try to just sit down and wait) May all cats have a good fate
Well-being to responsible people
Sorry for the animals, tired and tortured. Small children are allowed in, parents do not always follow them, they drag and squeeze cats. Unsanitary conditions.
Cats are just lovely, it was very interesting to visit with a child. We went on a weekday, so there were a comfortable number of people, but there was always a crowd at the "cafe" for tea. The price is good, not a lot, not a little.
In fact, it is not a museum.... Going there means helping people who have sheltered stray cats. A very strong smell, I do not recommend people who do not tolerate the smell of cats to come here. There is a place for tea, a room with drawings, but again the smell. To provide support, that's the main reason why you should come here.
If you love cats, then it makes sense to go. And so the smell is not the most pleasant, there is not much interactive. Maybe the hot weather blurred the impression, but I didn't really like it
This is a great place to get in touch with the world of cats. If it is not possible for the cat to be at home. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. And cats are just awesome
