A wonderful restaurant on the central avenue of the city, with a luxurious interior, excellent service, amazing quality of dishes and Epicurean portion sizes.
It's green all around, it's pretty quiet on the veranda, a fountain is bubbling nearby, the background noise of the avenue is almost inaudible. We ordered a bowl of pilaf with colleagues for three, we barely overcame half of it, and not because the pilaf was of poor quality. Not at all! The pilaf was gorgeous, local buns and dumplings were also attached to it, and all the forces of hungry men went to them.
The grand dinner cost 18,000 T, which is generally moderate. If I happen to visit Alma-Ata again, I will be happy to come here again.

A chic restaurant, everything is very tasty and the interior is on fire! The most delicious pilaf is here, having tried it in many restaurants. The tea is great. It was convenient for us to walk from the Kazakhstan Hotel, a 2-minute walk away. In the evening, the waiters arrange mini national dances, which is very pleasant and interesting. I recommend this restaurant!!!

I really liked this place
They have a very comfortable table for a large company (separate from everyone). A large and varied menu, national dishes.
Polite staff, answer all questions, recommend what to try.
We came here after long walks, always good music and delicious food allowed us to relax with pleasure.
I was in Almaty for the first time - I recommend this place to everyone!

This restaurant was pleasantly surprised not only by the taste of the dishes, but also by the high level of service. Beshbarmak, which is served here, is a real find for those who appreciate authentic cuisine. The taste of horse meat, soft as in childhood, combined with boiled potatoes, literally takes me back to the days when my grandmother cooked this dish. The receptionist Akerke showed a very helpful and caring approach, like a true professional, for which she is very grateful. Even after 10-15 minutes, she was able to help us with the table, and we still had dinner.

This is not fast food. Time will pass between ordering and serving, but not much. And they will talk to you, tell you a story about tea, ask if you like everything. In general, NAVAT, in my opinion, is the ancestor of establishments of this type, with menus and interiors made with a national flavor. The rating is -1 star due to the sale of alcohol, for this reason, sometimes due to a certain type of guests, the cafe turns into a diner. As a result: for an important business dinner with foreign guests, it is better to choose something from the category of Sandyq or Auyl.
