A tired retirement hotel with the worst breakfasts in my life. WITHOUT air conditioning, read the review below, I'll tell you everything.
Pros: the center, a certain prestige of accommodation, large rooms in size, cleaned every day, a lot of towels, bathrobes, slippers, a full set of cosmetics (albeit of very poor quality, but still), the presence of a hair dryer in the rooms.
Cons: THERE ARE NO AIR CONDITIONERS IN THE ROOMS! No matter what the hotel itself writes on the site, no matter what all the booking aggregators write, there is no air conditioner in any room, so there is built-in ventilation that drives warm air. In the heat, you will simply suffocate there, because the air does not cool down at all! We rested in the cool weather of Minsk, slept without blankets, with the "conditioner" turned out to the maximum, but woke up wet with sweat every day. And, yes, this air conditioner is controlled from a unit that has only 3 modes and at the strongest "blowing" mode it makes noise like a modern hair dryer. If you have a brand-new hair dryer, turn it on at least, that's exactly how the "air conditioner" will work. and, no, this is no exception personally in our case, we were in three different rooms - it's like that everywhere. This is a Siemens air conditioning system from the 50s, these are not air conditioners.
The wildest noise with the windows open, regardless of the view from the room. You can't stand it for half an hour, because you either have the busiest highway right next to you, or a yard with a turbine of these very ventilators, which buzzes 24/7. I would attach a video with a view from the window and noise, but the service does not give it. Take care of your ears) 👂
Breakfasts - well, it's just a shame) terrible cheap cheese cuts, dirty dishes, the same thing every day, the same thing. There's nothing to eat there.
Inadequacy of the staff: at the exit from breakfast, the man inspects everyone, so that God forbid you do not take an extra bottle of water to the room. That is, instead of adding bottled water every day, the hotel puts them out only for breakfast, and then wonders why the guests take 3-5 bottles each)
The hotel did not wish you a happy Birthday in any way, although check-in and passport check-in on the night of arrival was on your birthday. A trifle? No! It's strange for a hotel of this level.
The design of the rooms - well, it's trash and kringe, a return to the Soviet Union. Dirty carpets from the time of Stalin, beds that were kept in the 80s, a bathroom that is peeling…
And all this for VERY immodest money!

We booked a hotel through Yandex.Travel. Two days before arrival, I began to call the phone number indicated in the booking confirmation to clarify the issues of check-in. No one answered the phone. I found the phone number of the booking and accommodation services on the website and again no one answered the phone. I called from the Russian "Tele Two", which I used to get through perfectly everywhere while in Belarus. I managed to get through only from the reception of another hotel, from a local room. It was unclear what it was. As a result: we settled in, the room is not bad, but this approach to communication with customers raises many questions. Among the advantages: a restaurant with a beautiful view of the city, location near the center, air conditioning worked perfectly, the room was quiet/ peaceful. Of the disadvantages (except communication): the refrigerator is barely alive, there is no kettle in the room and cups for hot drinks. There is a cooler on the floor, but the water in it runs out quickly. The cafe downstairs with an unclear work schedule, how many times did not come in, was closed (judging by the sign, it was supposed to work), there were only sweets in the lobby bar, i.e. there was nowhere to have a snack on arrival, there was only a restaurant where the dress code was in effect. I found a spider under the pillow in the room in the morning) of course, they put it there for a reason, but it's unpleasant.

The hotel is good, but the price does not match the room. When I booked on the phone, for two adults for two nights, without breakfast, a standard double room, they announced the cost of 14t (Russian rubles), but in fact I arrived alone and paid 17t rubles with breakfast in a single room. And they also prove to me that the cost was not announced to me on the phone (in Russian rubles) So when you book a hotel, ask them to send you a booking confirmation with the price and description of the room.

I wanted to stay in the very center of Minsk and in general I did not regret it - a convenient location on Independence Avenue, next to the square with the church and the underground shopping center, 10 minutes to Nemiga, the same distance to the train station. The hotel itself immediately says from the moment of check-in that it is a state property. The gloomy and stern faces of the staff, the strict refusal to extend the room for free even for 1 hour, carpets, specific tables and cabinets with the smell of antiquity and a bathroom with traces of modifications on the tiles. And of course the sockets behind the bedside tables... The restaurant and the breakfast selection are quite decent, the coffee from the machines is quite good, you can order scrambled eggs in addition to the buffet. In general, the impressions are mixed, but you can try ... and the standard room in the summer of 2023 cost about 8 thousand. rub per night. It's up to you!

Clean, comfortable, polite contact staff. When booking, I needed special conditions in connection with the accommodation of a person with disabilities, the staff took everything into account.
I was pleased with a decent set of cosmetics and care products, including body lotion. If it's important to someone, slippers and bathrobes are also available. All textiles are clean, not shabby. Breakfasts are expensive if you take them separately, but they are worth it, I recommend it. Surprisingly high-quality coffee beans for breakfast in the coffee machine.
The location is top-end. Walking distance to the main attractions, parks, train station.
As a bonus, there is a normal supermarket on the left in the same building, and a delicious cheburechnaya on the right.

The plumbing is in excellent condition, good water pressure in the bathroom. The window overlooked the courtyard, where there is a guest parking and a car wash, so it was quiet and peaceful. The buffet breakfast was taken separately. A good selection of dishes: porridge, pancakes, omelette, cheeses, ham, yoghurts, fruits, pastries, coffee, juices. You won't stay hungry. The hotel has a spa and a beauty salon. The service is excellent! Wi-Fi caught perfectly. Parking is free for guests, and it is guarded, under a barrier.

A hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday. It is comfortable inside, the service is attentive, they respond adequately to requests. The ATM in the lobby is immediately charged with change, which is very convenient. Despite the fact that there was a casino in the same building, it did not cause any inconvenience or noise.
I would like to mention the restaurant separately. A good buffet in the morning and a good menu for business lunch and in the evening. Delicious. A hall with chandeliers like in the 50s and 60s. I arrived late and at 22:00 local time there was all the menu. It's so nice to eat hot mushroom soup from a 12 hour drive. The location is optimal - in the area of 10-15 minutes on foot all the main tourist places. Yandex taxi has no problems, wi-fi is stable and pumps as it should.

The hotel is not modern, but everything is clean and has everything you need. There were interruptions with hot water, but we found a solution quickly. The only drawbacks I can say are uncomfortable beds (mattress) and pillows (completely flat), but this is individual for everyone.

The rooms are equipped with everything you need. A mini-bar at quite reasonable prices, although the choice is small (about 17 positions, if I'm not mistaken).
It is located in the very center of the Belarusian capital, two steps from Independence Square (in fact, the building overlooks the square with one of its facades), the Government House, the "red church" of St. Simeon and Elena, the academic buildings of the Belarusian State and Pedagogical Universities. For theater-goers, one of the best theaters in the entire post-Soviet space is located within walking distance - the Gorky National Academic Drama Theater. For connoisseurs of Italian cuisine, on the opposite side of Independence Avenue, diagonally from the main entrance to the hotel, there is the O.D.I. restaurant. In the courtyard of the hotel there is a fairly spacious parking lot, free for guests. In the morning, the hotel's restaurant serves a buffet with a very good selection of dishes: sausage and cheese cuts, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, Rich juices, omelets, pastries, tea and coffee. Delicious fried eggs are prepared on an individual order, with various additives.
In general, the hotel corresponds to its four stars, while the room rates for Russians are very acceptable.

The taste of childhood, real, with hints of joy and precisely, an embedded part of the soul, of the chef himself. Bravo. I'll go back to the hotel itself. The rooms are clean, cozy, a large set of cosmetics, high-quality and beautifully packaged. Tea accessories, TV, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers are all in place. Wonderful. WI-Fi in the rooms is weak, but so are government agencies nearby. I will not lower the asterisk for this. Since we were on vacation, it was only a plus for us. Good private parking in the courtyard of the hotel, with security. Reliable. The hotel has a bar where you can drink coffee, a currency exchange office, buy souvenirs, and its own SPA (even if only before lunch for free for vacationers). As they say, in the very center, and even everything is in place. Such a city in the city. So, we will be in Minsk, immediately - to Minsk for a potato cake and a quiet, comfortable rest. At the same time, let's see if the girls at the reception have also learned to smile and not scare away guests with a serious look.
