As an actor, I often visit various theaters and halls, and I can say with confidence that this Palace is one of the most impressive and beautiful places for performances.
From the very moment when I first crossed the threshold of this building, I was struck by its architecture and grandeur. Inside I found cozy and spacious halls that create an ideal atmosphere for performances and concerts.
The acoustics in the Palace of Trade Unions are simply amazing. Every sound, every note reaches the listeners with clarity and depth, leaving an unforgettable impression. As an actor, this is very important to me, as good acoustics allows you to convey emotions and create a unique connection with the audience.
In addition, the staff of the Palace of Trade Unions always shows high professionalism and care for guests. They create comfortable conditions for artists and spectators, are always ready to help and answer questions.
I would also like to mention the convenient location of the Palace of Trade Unions in the very center of Minsk.
The building is incredibly beautiful! It's like being in a museum. Everything is clean, a beautiful stage, an auditorium. I am very happy to have been there!
Advantages: decorations, costumes, the facade of the building.
Cons: Lighting design - during the songs, the light shines in bright flashes directly into the face, after the second song, the eyes no longer see anything, they are blinded. I had an idea to get up and leave. The actors open their mouths at the wrong time to the recorded audio, the main character's headdress flew off, the plot is not interesting, the ticket price does not match the quality of the presented. There is no toilet seat in the bathroom.
It periodically became very cold in the hall, as if the windows were open somewhere. People with children were sitting and eating in the back seats, and it was extremely unpleasant to hear the smell of popcorn and slurping in the theater. The staff did not react in any way.
There are no questions about the stage, the light, the host, or the organization of the festival as a whole. But! It was cold, the ushers at the entrance were unfriendly, hissed at the children, then they occupied a glass recreation area near the cafe and changed clothes in it. The cafe sells bad coffee, and the bartender was very worried that their cafe would remain at a loss, because the money was converted by Sberbank of the Russian Federation. It is very expensive and unpleasant.
I've never seen such a New Year's performance before. Everything is set to the soundtrack, both words and music. Children are not interested. I've been waiting for the end more than ever. It was cool last year, so we bought special tickets for this year.
This is a masterpiece of neoclassicism!!! It's beautiful!!!! The center of Minsk, the heart of our Motherland!!!! Comments are unnecessary! And it gives weight to me that here we participated in the competition and took 1 winner!!!! Thanks!!!
A classic example of Soviet Art Nouveau.
The interior is clean, the hall is nice.
There is not too much choice in the buffet, there is something to work on
Externally, it is a very beautiful building, the architecture is beautiful. But inside, the repair is not very good. I would like it to be more modern, not the old one.
It's an amazing place. Starting from external beauty to internal beauty. There are many clubs and studios inside. There is a cafe. The hall hosts performances, performances, and contests. We thank you for the warm welcome of our contestants within our walls.
A wonderful place to relax! Wonderful organization of the team's work under the guidance of a competent leader!!!! The staff is attentive, the repertoire is very interesting, the hall is very comfortable!!! The creative departments of the Palace deserve special thanks and attention!!!
Clean, the staff is polite, the menu in the cafe is varied, there is a lunch at reasonable prices. The concert hall is beautiful, the stage is not big. I liked it)
The museum is excellent and the girl guides are wonderful 😍 they tell everything with interest and most importantly for a relatively short time, that is, you do not get tired😎
A very beautiful building, both inside and outside! I had a chance to speak at the competition here, we took the 2nd place! There are a lot of emotions and memories! I liked everything very much!
I liked. A free audio guide is given, but it seems to me that it is better to take a guided tour (the guides are just super).
Under one roof, you can see and read about all the sights of Belarus, outline the main points of interest, and then visit them.
Interesting creative stands where buildings are illuminated in different ways, move, etc.
It would be better to ask about housing and communal services 68 on Gamarnik str. 14.what a mess as in the village of a tractor, firewood and good equipment are lying around wherever they get.And the deputy administrator of the Soviet district milking jackdaws came without taking any measures
The historical place!!
Is amazing with its magnificent architecture!
By the way, young people like to be photographed here., near the columns.
Everyone is looking up at the stucco and it seems to me that this is an excellent work of architects and performers in 1956!!!
This is the most beautiful building in the center of Minsk. Be sure to consider all the details. Go to the porch of the palace and raise your head up - you will be very surprised)
Then go inside, turn left, go down - inspect and take pictures of everything, it's great that we have preserved all the details of this historical value.
Ps. By the way, the museum of architectural Miniatures Strana mini is located below, where 22 exact copies of the key sights of Belarus are collected (audio guide and photos for free), in which you will travel around Belarus in miniature in an hour! And, undoubtedly, the best souvenirs in Minsk :)
We attended the Spring dance competition in this institution, a good hall, it is convenient to look from the balconies on the 2nd and 3rd floors, a good cafe, but the staff are *Soviet* strict aunts, to whom everything should be indestructible.
The building of the Palace of Culture is located on the square near the Palace of the Republic. Inside there is a miniature museum, a pub, offices. The architecture of the building is interesting, it is worth exploring from the outside, statues, columns.
On January 27, 2023, we went to a play with a friend. As a result, they spent up to one-thirty in the traumatology department of 6 hospitals. As a result of a fall on the wet floor at the entrance to this institution (the joint of a rubber mat and a floor wet from snow), a friend has a shoulder fracture and a hip injury. The staff only left when the ambulance arrived. No one even apologized for the fact that a person fell out of service for a month.
Soviet heritage, ideal for events with 50+ programs. The last time I was at Mamonov's performance. Considering that this is a creative meeting, there were no special requests for light, sound and entourage, but inside there is a complete council
The place is good, the building is gorgeous. Theatrical productions of the Gorky National Museum of Fine Arts are held here, there is a miniature museum "Country Mini", works of artistic creativity of young talents and not only are presented. There is also a small cafe where you can relax and share your impressions. A cozy, creative atmosphere helps to deeply comprehend and give a decent assessment to everyone who works at this place.

The historic building is beautiful! But here's the toilet.... no toilet seat, no toilet paper
A beautiful palace! The hall is very beautifully decorated for the New Year and Christmas! You get into a fairy tale.We went to a concert by Yaroslav Sumishevsky.
The theater hall is very cozy, the lobby is beautiful.
But the bar is really "with a claim", it is not designed at all for visiting a large number of people during the intermission. At least they put a bar somewhere to drink coffee like a human being, since there are few places.
And most importantly, did simple tea have to be called "garbatai"? Is this so that "not only everyone, but few people" (c) could guess that there is tea on the menu after all?
People born before the 90s studied according to Soviet dictionaries, where there is only tea, without garbat. It turns out that the bar is for certain categories of citizens?
The museum of miniature sights of Belarus is located in the Palace of Trade Unions. I liked it very much, it was especially interesting with the guide Natalia. She told me an interesting story. The exhibits are equipped with backlight, it looks impressive!!! I recommend visiting this place. Children from 8-10 years old will also be interested.
Very good impressions remained after the visit. We were with a child at a New Year's performance. It's a very interesting production. For children, not for show-offs. Ticket prices bite a bit, but this price included a small gift for the child after the performance. There was an interactive for kids near the Christmas tree with heroes. Everything is somehow intimate and cozy. In a New Year's way.
