A grandiose, impressive monument dedicated to the Victory of the Soviet people in the liberation of Belarus from fascism. A hymn to Victory and Peace. It is located near the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and Victory Park. Be sure to visit. You will definitely not remain indifferent!
A majestic obelisk towering over the hill. It symbolizes the steadfastness and steadfastness of the Belarusian people during the Great Patriotic War. Next to the obelisk there is a bronze sculpture "Motherland", which evokes a sense of pride and respect for the exploits of the ancestors.
Guests definitely need to stay here. Both a museum and a park area with entertainment for preschool children. Large walking area. Have a drink, have a snack, too.
A must-visit for everyone!!! I was shocked by what I saw. A huge monument-museum dedicated to the Great feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism, which presents the entire history of the Great Patriotic War from the beginning of the attack by Nazi Germany to Victory. A lump in my throat from what I saw!
In general, Belarus is amazing with Patriotism! Well done!
Large-scale sculptural exposition near the WWII Museum. You can take a great selfie. There is a beautiful view of the intersection of Pobediteley and Masherov Avenues.
I really liked the museum. There are a lot of interesting things, you can walk around all day and look at everything, personal belongings have been preserved, letters from people who died in the war, personal belongings of prisoners. When you see all this, goosebumps appear and tears form. Newspapers, notes, letters that after so many years you can read with your own eyes.
Minsk is a wonderful city. Very clean, well maintained, well maintained. It reminded me of Moscow in miniature. Wide avenues, everything is large-scale.
The whole of Belarus is clean and well maintained. Belarusians are great fellows. Belarus, in some ways, reminded the USSR, only more modern and modernized. It was as if he had returned to a new past. Well done.
A beautiful and at the same time difficult place. Tears come on their own. Be sure to visit the museum itself. A very large museum. A stream runs from the sculpture of a mother and a warrior and it seems that these are the million tears of the people. This must not be forgotten
This is the center of Minsk. Massive large-scale events are held here-a city holiday, fireworks, parades. A beautiful, well-groomed place, like the whole of Minsk-a hero city!
A significant place in the city and for the city. Patriotic, perfectly clean and beautiful. The twinkling stars fit in well (I would not like them to be removed!).
It is visible from a distance, because it is located on the main street, and there is no built-up area around. There is a park behind the stella and to the side. The territory is tidy, clean, there are no broken tiles, it's nice to walk.
We were here on Independence Day
Belarus.I really enjoyed the holiday and everything was as it was. Many of my friends and acquaintances from Russia were very delighted with the fireworks!!!
We have a monument in honor of Victory on Victory Square - duplication is unnecessary. The monument is beautiful, especially against the background of the museum, but they could have come up with a better name.
A place of strength, courage and pride. It is absolutely necessary for adults with children to visit, so that the younger generation knows and adults remember who won freedom and independence from the occupiers at the cost of their lives.
It is a very significant place , it reminds me of the terrible years of our Minsk. And thanks to the courage of countless soldiers of the Second World War, our city bears the great title of HERO CITY.
The place is notable rather for the WWII Museum and the park. However, in itself, as a monument and a symbol of victory, it can also not leave indifferent people interested in history. I advise the WWII Museum, you should definitely look there.
The Museum of the Second World War. A very memorable place. There are always tourists, crowds of people. The museum lives. History lives on. Memory lives on. That's great! 🫶
A beautiful monument, a place of power. There is a very large territory and a park, beautiful fountains and alleys, it is very pleasant to walk or jog in the morning. Sometimes on holidays there are big concerts and places with food and entertainment.
The complex is dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. And the USSR flag is flying! This alone is worthy of attention. Everything is symbolic here. And the sculptural composition Farewell. The Museum of the Great Patriotic War presents wartime equipment both inside and outside.
The Stele on the Winners is a powerful and majestic complex that is always in the attention of residents and guests of our city. The symbol of Victory, the memory of the Great Patriotic War. The gracefully towering sculpture says that our people are invincible!
Beautiful photogenic composition. Here you get great postcards with a view of Minsk at any time of the day and year. The backlight works all night. There are many free parking lots nearby. You can even have a snack in the dining room of the WWII Museum.
A place of Memory and Pride, for your Country!!! A great place to relax is Victory Park, the Museum of the Great Patriotic War! I sincerely recommend it to everyone who is in Minsk for the first time and not only)))
An excellent architectural object is the memory of the Great Patriotic War. The museum is right next to it. This is a status crossroads - the Minsk Hero City Stele symbolizes the importance of Minsk's contribution to Victory.
We visited Minsk for the first time and visited Victory Park, where this Stella is located. It is dedicated to the winning heroes. The girl with the fanfare symbolizes the sounds of Victory, and the "petals" behind Stella represent the Victory salute. I recommend visiting this place, going to the museum, taking a walk in the park. After the trip, it became clearer why we are so close to the people of Belarus. After all, they were the ones who suffered the terrible blow of the war, every fifth resident was injured or killed. It was only by 1974 that Belarus managed to restore the pre-war number of inhabitants. I'm not afraid of this word "scary", you can find out a lot of interesting things by visiting the museum.
A very good museum, I recommend visiting it. You can take a guided tour. You can walk around by yourself (as we did), everything is very informative, everything is signed. Pleasant employees of the museum.
Very fundamentally done. Such power of the whole composition is simply breathtaking. The park is very beautiful around, just luxurious for walking. And the museum itself deserves a separate description
I highly recommend it to every person! A museum telling about the history of our people. The incredibly beautiful area around the museum and emotionally heavy installations of scenes from the life of our country inside the museum, interesting excursions for groups.
The only building in the World where the big flag of the Soviet Union, the great victorious country of fascism, flies. Extremely interesting expositions and excursions. Definitely worth a visit.
It's beautiful, I advise you to visit the WWII Museum. We went with the class + inexpensive 1p. There are a lot of souvenirs and the same people. I recommend it
A great place for walking and relaxing, there are playgrounds for children, treadmills, a swimming area. A cool island in the center where you can hide under tall trees! This is the center of the city.
The sculpture is beautiful, majestic. It is well located, in a prominent place near Victory Park. The inclined plates symbolize the victory salute, and on the rear plane is an exact replica of the Reichstag dome.
A good place to walk. You can take a walk in the park, as well as along the embankment. You can visit the island of birds, although there is nothing more interesting there except wooden paths
This is a fascinating museum about the years of the Great Patriotic War. It is very useful for children to watch and listen to the story. We all liked it, both the big ones and the children.
The convenient location of one of the most important memorial sites for Belarus. It's great that the Victory Museum is located right there, which makes it possible to hold various patriotic events
A great place, it looks symbolic and monumental in the truest sense! Constantly updated and improved, always clean. In the evening, you can see glowing steps and huge stars on the stairs.
The stele, the museum of the Great Patriotic War, the park - everything is beautiful and clean. A wonderful place to relax. Minsk architects created, Minsk municipal services preserve
I recommend visiting the Museum of the Great Patriotic War. To see the monument on the square, walk along the alleys of the park, relax by the fountain.
It is useful for children not to forget their story.
