I recently visited a wonderful Belarusian cuisine restaurant in Brest and was absolutely delighted! This is a place with a unique atmosphere, where you can feel the real Belarusian flavor: a cozy interior in a folk style, wooden elements and a warm, soulful atmosphere. The menu was filled with a variety of traditional dishes. I definitely tried the draniki– crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with sour cream and bacon rinds, just delicious! I also really liked the pancake mash – fragrant, hearty and incredibly tasty. I also appreciated the sorcerers – tender potato zrazy with meat filling. Special thanks for the homemade tinctures– I tried it(a) cranberry and honey, both proved to be excellent additions to the meal. Desserts didn't disappoint either: sweet pancakes with jam and a curd cocktail ended the dinner on a high note. The service was excellent: the staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are quite consistent with the quality and portions – I left well-fed and satisfied. If you want to experience the real taste of Belarus, be sure to visit this restaurant! I recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. 10/10, I will definitely be back!🌟

Location and exterior. The restaurant is located in the central park of culture and recreation on May 1, on the shore of a picturesque lake. The building is a colorful white mud hut with a tiled roof decorated with bright colors. There are cozy wooden verandas with benches, weeping willows and ducks on the lake. Interior and atmosphere. There is a special atmosphere inside, combining elements of an ancient tavern, a noble castle and a traditional hut. The fireplace room for 37 people with a live fire is especially impressive. The interior is decorated with a collection of antique samovars and other antiques. Even the entrances to the toilets are decorated in an original way – red shoes for ladies and a black boot for gentlemen. Cuisine and drinks. The menu features dishes of Belarusian, Polish and Jewish cuisine. They deserve special attention: Traditional Belarusian draniki Machanka with chicken giblets (served in a cast-iron skillet or a clay pot) Proprietary tinctures of our own preparation (horseradish, raspberries, currants, pine nuts, cranberries, herbs) Meat delicacies from our own smokehouse Drinks. In addition to branded tinctures, Belarusian Alivaria beer and other drinks are served. Service. The staff is attentive and professional. The menu is beautifully designed and informative, which makes it easy to navigate the choice of dishes. The overall impression. The inn "By the Lake" is an ideal place for a family dinner or a meeting with friends. The picturesque location, authentic atmosphere and delicious national cuisine create a special atmosphere. The only caveat is that it is better to book a table in advance on weekends and holidays. Rating: 5 out of 5.
