Beautiful architecture. Just a gorgeous marble staircase inside. I was at the Tosca opera. The soloist is divine. A voice that gives a company goosebumps. A must-visit.

I really love this theater. I am an adept of opera and attend only operas. I was at the ballet a long time ago, before the reconstruction of the theater. I like everything in the theater - architecture, decoration, a theater garden, a fountain. They say the architect of the Langbard building didn't really like his creation, but I really like it.

We had a wonderful time with the children. There is an exhibition of scenery and costumes in the foyer of the theater. You can touch them and take pictures with them.

We were at the Tosca opera on 04/15.23. We liked everything, a beautiful theater, an opera in Italian with subtitles, which was pleasantly surprised, because we were afraid that we would not understand anything) Bravo to the actors! Definitely worth a visit when traveling to Minsk.

The state of the ballet company is terrible. Costumes (bayadere) It's like a circus. The combination of colors is as violent as possible to the eye. The theater itself is in excellent condition.

Oh, it's really cool!!! The first time was at the ballet. Maria and Juliet. While driving, I thought I would fall asleep at the performance. And how I arrived... Everything passed in one breath. A very beautiful building both inside and out. You definitely need to go. M children to drive.

We went to "Eugene Onegin", the opera itself is beautiful, Pushkin, Tchaikovsky ...
The performance, costumes, scenery - everything is on top! Vladimir Gromov is the best Onegin!

The building is impressive. But the ballet itself is not very good.
I was on the Nutcracker. The scenery is rather poor, the artists have noticeable jambs, a small part of the stage is not visible from the box. The music seemed a little quiet to me, but maybe that's the way it should be, I'm not sure.
Compared to some other ballets, even non-metropolitan theaters look weaker.
Maybe I was unlucky, judging by the photos of other users, at least the decorations here are better.

Well, what to say. I go once a month at least. Everything is fine, but I would put a self-service coffee shop there, because in the intermission, well, it's unrealistic to get to the buffet and then have time to return to your place. Only if you don't fly headlong from the hall in the first rows. The troupe rays of love ❤

I really liked the theater! We got to the 89th anniversary of the theater - we saw the best excerpts from operas and ballet! The actors are well done , it 's just a holiday for the soul ! The theater is very beautiful! Both outside and inside! A beautiful square. Only the heart bleeds as the scooters jump along the marble steps. We need to keep an eye on this - somehow ask them from there… The buffets are well organized - there is no hustle, cards are accepted everywhere, and there are many tables. Pleasant staff EVERYWHERE: from the security entrance to the hall. But the Belarusian ballet raises many questions - there is simply no synchronicity, there are some big problems, it has not been worked out… Not worked out? But it's ALWAYS LIKE THIS! It can't be worked out! It shouldn't be! There are too many elements of vulgarity! It's nice that Belarusians themselves love their ballet very much and warmly accept them!

One of the favorite theaters in Minsk ♥️
Opera is much more interesting in terms of scenery and costumes compared to ballet.
If you are going to the opera for the first time, I recommend starting with La Traviata, Carmen or Rigoletto.
If ballet is Spartacus, Prince Vitovt.
A beautiful ceremonial hall in red tones with velvet armchairs.
And of course, the buffet during the intermission and before the performance. The usual Soviet champagne (6 rubles.), which does not hurt your head, if you like, there is also Gancia. Of the cons - champagne can be warm 🥂 Delicious desserts: Napoleon, brownies and sandwiches.
From life hacks - in order not to stand in line during the intermission - you can immediately pay and order something from the menu for the intermission, and a table will be set for you by your arrival 💃🥂😉

WrongIt's a wonderful theater. I listened to La Traviata during my last visit to Minsk. I bought the last ticket to the last row of the balcony. But I turned to the Chief Administrator and he offered me a place in the stalls on a side chair. The opera is in three pictures, but there are four actions. Everything looked in one go. There has not been such pleasure from opera for a very long time. Absolutely everything was pleasing - the voices, the performance, the actors, the scenery. Bravo! Belissimo!
