My favorite theater in Minsk. An amazing festive atmosphere, a beautiful monumental building, a wonderful troupe and a wonderful symphony orchestra. 3 weeks ago we attended the ballet "Romeo and Juliet". The Mari Opera and Ballet Theatre came to us on tour. I really liked the performance. But we were incredibly upset by the lack of an orchestra. The ballet dancers danced to the recording of musical accompaniment. We were so disappointed. Tickets were much more expensive than for the theater troupe, no one warned at the box office. The symphony orchestra accompanies the performance of the ballet dancers and helps not only to understand the meaning of the performance, but also to immerse yourself in the atmosphere. Very upset
One of the most beautiful and significant buildings in the Republic of Belarus. The Center of Culture and High Art. Modern, expensive, beautiful. Everything is convenient, there is an elevator inside for people with disabilities. Professionals work. Wonderful artists. The costumes are amazing, the scenery is modern. The best orchestra. Thank you very much to everyone for their work, starting from the director and chief choreographer, conductor, troupe artists, artists, costumers, wardrobe workers, assistants and caretakers, cleaners.
Corsairs from Moscow specially came to the ballet. An excellent symphony orchestra. The ballet group was slightly behind the music level. I am not a super expert in ballet, one might even say a layman, but the lack of synchronicity in some paintings is clearly striking. I couldn't take my eyes off the hanging thread like macaroni on Medora's dress in the fourth picture. Thank God, after the third dance, someone must have noticed her behind the stage too!!! I will note Ali's dance, it was great. But in general, everything is very cool! We had a great pleasure with our family. In no case do I want to underestimate the work of the team. Thanks!!! I would especially like to note the cleanliness, beauty and comfort in the foyer of the theater. But this is probably a national feature of Belarusians!!! Thanks again!!!
My favorite theater! I recommend that all guests of the capital definitely visit this iconic place and watch the ballet. I've reviewed almost the entire ballet repertoire. Unfortunately, the productions have been repeated lately. Such performances as "Anastasia", "Six Dances", "Shadows", "Vitovt", "Anyuta", "Scheherazade", "Passion" ("Ragneda"), "Esmeralda", "Laurencia" and others disappeared from the posters, which adequately represented the main theater of the country and outstanding choreographers, in particular first of all, Elizariev, Troyan, and which I would like to review. It is important that the repertoire does not become scarce, but only enriched.
The Bolshoi Theatre is a must-visit if you have come to get to know Minsk. A huge building, lots of light and air. It is better to come here an hour before the performance to go to the buffet (it is inexpensive here), walk along the floors and look at the columns, chandeliers, paintings, busts of Roman emperors, take a photo on the stairs, etc. We were here for the ballet Swan Lake and the opera Carmen. The audience is grateful - they applaud the artists for a long time and from the bottom of their hearts. We will definitely come here again on our next trip to Minsk 💪
A luxurious theater, built in the USSR in the 30s by Leningrad architects. A strong opera company. I watched Donizetti's "Love Potion" - humor, sunshine, love and delight. In the lobby there is an exhibition of theatrical costumes, antique sculptures, a photo area with a grand piano and an antique dress. The buffet will delight you with fish, sausage, cakes and, of course, drinks. Marble, chandeliers, mirrors will create a real delight!
A very beautiful theater from the point of view of architecture, next to a large green recreation area, which is very important for the center of Minsk. Ticket prices are low, the productions are large-scale, solid, and interesting. I was at the opera Eugene Onegin, beautiful scenery, costumes. I liked everything
THE BOLSHOI THEATRE OF BELARUS...
On a Friday in early summer,
Visited our BIG
OPERA AND BALLET THEATER.
We rested with all our soul.
The uniqueness of the performance is
a classic setting,
the talent of the artists is a sight to behold.
One of the best productions.
Popular tickets,
To rest your soul
TO THE OPERA AND BALLET THEATER.
BELARUSIAN, our BIG ONE.
DL2024
For the main theater of the city, and possibly the country, it is passable. The prices are quite affordable, the productions are interesting, the actors of the theater are diligent. I was confused by the cerberus caretakers, who are ready to take your phone away from you, so long as you don't take pictures or take pictures. A normal practice for any theater, however, it is embodied in an aggressive manner, which overshadows the viewing of the play.
A great place to enjoy art!
We were at a concert on Independence Day, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus, great!!!
The architecture is super!
The parking lot is huge!
The fountains are super!
I recommend you to visit!!!
The Bolshoi Theatre, as one of the main attractions of Minsk, is recommended for art lovers! Beautiful, large-scale, culturally and inexpensively! We took tickets in advance, about a month before the trip and were pleasantly surprised by their cost, they gave 90 rubles for two tickets (this is about 2,700 rubles). In comparison with the cost of housing for the New Year holidays from 16 thousand rubles per day, the price of a ticket to the Bolshoi pleased))
We watched the Bat in a comedic interpretation)) The voices are gorgeous, the actors don't have much dancing))
A wonderful theater, modern and cozy. Preserved all the features of the original appearance. Wonderful and talented actors. The scenery is magical. You watch and get tremendous pleasure. Bravo to everyone who works in this theater. Only creative success!!!
The National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre in Minsk is the largest in Belarus.
White marble, red velvet and crystal create a feeling
of restrained luxury.
A beautiful, cozy auditorium with tiered balconies and a modern stage allow viewers and classical lovers to enjoy opera and ballet art.
A large monumental building that commands respect, everything is very beautiful, clean and Bright. I haven't had time to visit the theater yet, but I definitely want to visit. Only a positive impression.
A wonderful theater! Beauty, cleanliness. The ball at the premiere of the play "Cinderella", the impression was excellent, I received a lot of pleasure. The scenery is magnificent, and the performance is beyond praise. It is a great pleasure to visit the opera house!
The ballet "Bayadere" on 04/28/2024 is magnificent!!! The Bolshoi Theater of Moscow needs to learn in terms of the ratio of "price and quality". Prices in Moscow are like on Mars! In Belarus for people!
At the entrance to the territory there is a sign that says that the passage is for official cars. I was looking for parking nearby. However, going to the theater, I saw that cars were allowed to enter the inner parking lot with tickets for the event. Keep in mind!
We were at the Opera "Iolanta". I really liked it. I was impressed by the costumes, the scenery and of course the solo parts, the music. There is text in Russian and English on the screen under the stage, which is very convenient. The program costs 4.5 rubles. It's very beautiful inside. The opera is two-act, the acts are short for less than an hour, perfect for hiking with a child. The atmosphere is wonderful.
A nice and cozy auditorium. The musicians are responsive and play good tunes - it's good to sleep. I was at the opera "Iolanta" - I didn't understand the plot at first, and then I understood. They sing clearly and in Russian, there is an electronic prompter. Everything in the buffet is of excellent quality and delicious.
The design of the theater both outside and inside is amazing 👍 You can not only have a nice time in comfortable rooms while watching opera, ballet, etc., but also take cool photos as a souvenir 💯 There is a buffet, the staff is friendly)
We watched the concert Tales of the Viennese Forest. A wonderful orchestra, an interesting stage design. I liked the voices of the soloists. I liked the theater itself too. I recommend that you definitely visit Minsk
A huge, majestic building with beautiful sculptures and a fountain.
Everything is very solemn and beautiful inside!
A little bit about the mundane: I liked that despite the fact that the whole hall was packed, there was no queue for the women's toilet)) and you can book a table for the intermission, you come, and you already have everything, it's convenient)
Of the cons: the hall is stuffy, there is a huge queue to the bar, it has dissipated by the end of the intermission, and they are kicked out very quickly after the end of the performance (
The pearl of Minsk, gorgeous sculptures of nymphs and muses on the facade, a fountain nearby, a beautiful park, in summer you can relax in the heat. A unique architectural building.
A magnificent theater! The first time I was in Minsk and the first visit to the theater and watching the ballet "Swan Lake". The theater itself impresses not only from the outside, but also inside with its space and ceiling height. The decoration is made of expensive materials, columns, chandeliers, sofas. Also in the hall of the theater there are expositions of costumes from performances that were staged in this theater. I liked the decoration of the auditorium itself, without any extra pretentiousness, everything is tasteful. Comfortable seats both in the porter and in the boxes. It will be very convenient for the audience to watch the performances from any place in the auditorium. The hall is made so that from the stage to the end of the hall, the seats are raised higher gradually, and not at the stage level, as in many theaters in Russia.
The Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus in Minsk is a historical symbol and cultural wealth of the Republic of Belarus. This magnificent structure, which is an example of Soviet pre-war constructivism, is not only a national monument of architecture, but also a great art. It was founded in 1933 and has since become an integral part of the Belarusian opera and ballet scene.
The history of the theater was tested by time and severe trials during the Great Patriotic War, when the building was destroyed. However, thanks to the efforts and determination of the people, the opera house was restored and became a symbol of national recovery and cultural wealth.
Today, the Bolshoi Theater continues to delight its audience with magical performances, presenting more than 80 operas and ballets, including national works and world classics. This is a place where art comes to life, and its reputation as one of the greatest opera houses in the country is deservedly confirmed.
A great place for a cultural holiday with friends. Professional productions. Convenient parking. A large hall. Buffet with the possibility of pre-ordering during the intermission
Come early, parking is a problem, especially since there is where and how to spend time before the performance: you can look at stage costumes, check into photo zones, and just have a cup of coffee in the buffet. You can book a table in advance, especially if you are with a group and not driving.
Who rarely goes to the opera - take seats in the box on the mezzanine, in the last row. There you can tap into the phone without disturbing others.
I was listening to The Magic Flute. I was just listening. From time to time, he put down his phone and began to follow the action on stage. The opera was more interesting than the phone. That's it.
I have not been inside, I rate the architecture purely 5 stars. A very beautiful task with a view of the fountain. The park directly envelops this building. There will be an opportunity, you will have to go to the performance and see the spinning scene firsthand.
The theater is gorgeous, I came from Moscow for a few days and went to Prince Igor, I liked it so much that I also went to Eugene Onegin. The theater itself is very beautiful, the vocalists sing beautifully. An incredible orchestra of strength. For a Muscovite, an opera for 500 rubles is just a gift from heaven!!! The next time I go to Minsk, I will book the opera in advance. Of the minuses, I can only note the absence of a Wi-Fi zone on the territory of the theater. I didn't have a local connection and, accordingly, the Internet, I had to look for the nearest cafe after the theater to call a taxi to the hotel. ))) But on the other hand, it's also good, a walk after the opera) In general, I advise everyone unequivocally!!!🔥🔥🔥🩷
We went to Carmen. The voices are strong and beautiful. There are no complaints about the place itself - everything is on top, very beautiful and cozy. Only the translation of the words was not visible, it was right under the stage, and the heads of those sitting in front were slightly covered. And so great, I liked it.
Among the advantages: affordable tickets (unlike in Russia, for example), but the level, of course, is not the same. Cool scene features - lights, visual effects. Of course, the live sound is cool. The level of the dancers is average, the vocals have been very disappointing in places lately. And I really want a ballet NOT by Elizariev, I want a fresh approach, new ideas and solutions. I am glad that the program always includes, in addition to classics, Belarusian productions: for example, according to Korotkevich.
It's always magical to visit a Big One. You open a heavy door, step over the threshold and that's it - you're in another dimension) Marble stairs, chandeliers, scarlet velvet armchairs, all this light flair of music in the foyer, and a scene, a scene ... Follow the action, immerse yourself in the stories told by dance, marvel at the graces, plasticity, fantasies of directors, soar, dream… This time there are modern ballet performances. No pointe shoes, no tutus, barefoot, but God, how beautiful it is!!! Thank you to the theaters for being there!
Great performances! Beautiful scenery! I advise everyone to visit!! But you need to buy tickets in advance, as good seats are quickly sold out. Join the art!
The high level of service, friendliness and communication culture of the theater staff is uplifting. The acting is also at a very high level. You can feel their dedication and a lot of work on stage. The costumes of the actors match their images, they are very beautiful! Theater tickets need to be bought about a month in advance, because they are disassembled very quickly. The theater will appeal to those who love live classical music.
Super place got an unforgettable experience from watching and listening to the opera the magic flute.
Special respect to the buffet staff. We helped to arrange a table for the namesake.
A beautiful building both inside and out. The theater was built in 1933 in the style of Soviet constructivism. Amazing atmosphere and architecture. The stage and the hall are admirable.
A great place for cultural leisure. In addition to the performances, everything is perfectly equipped: two buffets, many wonderful interesting installations-photo zones. Everything is thought out and made for people. Cleanliness and order
As always, this place leaves a storm of emotions! The beauty of the theater is off the scale! The luxury of chandeliers and marble stairs is mesmerizing! The incomparable performance of the actors, including the unnamed ones. Director's work, an orchestra that will never allow themselves a "cock", costumes! I always enjoy this fabulous atmosphere. A buffet with incredibly delicious cuisine (the cakes are incomparable) for the lowest possible budget for such a place. And what kind of people: silence and delight, dresses and heels, politeness and tolerance for each other. I recommend it!
I compare the prices of opera tickets in Moscow and Minsk - and I am glad that they are available at a very decent level. There are ambiguous productions, but this is a matter of taste, and in general, our artists are simply top class
This is the first time in this theater. You won't get into the Big One in Moscow (both the prices and the difficulty of buying tickets), but here tickets in the stalls (we had 13 rows) are 3000 rubles (Russian). The magnificent St. Petersburg troupe and the Eichmann ballets!!!! Awesome
We go to productions with my wife from time to time. Usually at the opera. The atmosphere is pleasant, I like the actors, some of the voices are straight fire. The new panel with the text pleased me.
We visited the Swan Lake on 02/11/2024. I really liked it. Great interior. A pleasant, calm atmosphere. Polite staff.
A very, very expensive buffet! And the standard queues during the intermission.
A beautiful place, we weren't inside, just a passage, I liked the architecture, it's very authentic :)
There is a fountain and a small park in front of the theater
