This place is one of a kind..
Already the reason to visit this country,
Even just for a weekend!
Although me and my wife didn't want to leave it so soon..
In general, it is a good hotel: in the city center, around a street with many restaurants, bars and clubs. All the main locations for exploring the city are within walking distance. The hotel is located in a once-men's monastery, restored for the most part well, but still in places resembles Soviet sanatoriums in architecture and decoration. Today, the hotel restaurant is just a 100% dining room from the past. Nevertheless, beautiful windows with shutters, massive wooden beamed ceilings in the halls, cozy rounded ceilings in the rooms, beautiful solid wooden furniture — all this improves the atmosphere. But even here the strangeness is that there are niches in the walls, like those in which icons were placed, which should add atmosphere, but in the hotel they are not located at eye level as usual, but chaotically, at different heights, as if the niches had spread at the will of a mad sorcerer.
Also, the unambiguous advantages include pleasant, polite and attentive staff of the hotel.
There is parking for cars, but for an additional 500 Russian rubles per day. At the same time, the barrier for parking is not equipped with any communication method and each time you have to wait at least a few minutes in the hope that the operator will notice the car on the monitor out of the corner of his eye.
The water in the hotel's water supply is very soft — it is difficult to wash off the soap, there is a feeling of sliminess. I don't know, maybe there is such water all over Minsk, but it seems that water treatment in modern cities excludes this. Maybe someone is normal, this moment bothered me, because it's not about an eco-settlement on a wild island — I put off washing my head at the next hotel.
Another oddity is that you are given bottled drinking water and clean dishes, but (!) only on the first day of arrival. On other days, no water is provided, cups are not rinsed, while the price per day does not differ from one day or a week. Theoretically, it is reasonable to try to immediately arrange for you to check out and check in every day, so that everything is fine with the water and the cleaning is complete.
There are only two glasses in the room for four. But in addition to glasses, there are three cups, and with saucers, as in granny's sideboards — apparently in someone's mind the monks drank from such, I could not find any other explanation for the existence of this rudimentary tableware, in which there is neither convenience nor the volume familiar in the modern world. At the same time, clay cups of normal volume are being sold around, which would perfectly fit into the concept. In the meantime, you either need to drink drinks in turn, or someone will have tea from a glass or whiskey-Cola from a cup (but with a gilded saucer).
And finally, the biggest oddity is that the refrigerator in the room turns off if you leave the room. Even if you leave the key card in the room compartment, the cleaner will pick it up, because "these are the instructions." That is, if you put something spoiling in the refrigerator and do not sit in the room around the clock, it will certainly spoil and there is a chance, at least, to get not only sadness, but also an upset stomach. And drinks, apparently, it makes sense to cool them in the toilet tank if you want to find them cool when you return to the room.
In short, a normal hotel, but with a lot of hard-to-explain oddities.
The hotel is clean and tidy. Breakfasts from 7 to 11 the menu is the same, but the choice is large and therefore every day you can choose something new for yourself. Everything seems to be so clear that upon arriving at the hotel at 11:04, we were no longer allowed to go to the reception for breakfast, no indulgences. We checked into the hotel only at 14 o'clock, they said that the rooms were not ready yet, we had to walk around the city before lunch and look for where to have breakfast. Well, what can I do, although I think we could have been fooled for breakfast. Okay. Everything else is quite normal. The only thing is, there is no refrigerator in the room! (Room 311, with two separate beds), everything else is there: hair dryer, towels, shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, kettle, 2 0.5 bottles of water and a set of tea and coffee, cups and glasses.
One of the advantages is the historical center, beautiful architecture, an atmospheric place, not far from the railway station, there are many attractions nearby, in the morning there is a beautiful bell ringing from the neighboring Temple. The room is clean enough.
Of the minuses, it is very noisy at night, nightclubs and seedy places that are also located in this location work until 5-7 in the morning, I had to close all the windows on two sashes at night in order to somehow fall asleep and not listen to the screeching and screams of drunks. Unexpected water outage and the silence of the reception (calls from the room were not answered). The breakfasts were monotonous, the first breakfast was cold (the kitchen, or the waiters decided that it was not necessary to maintain heating).
The hotel is generally good. There are no complaints about the numbers and appearance at all, everything is beautiful and neat. The choice at breakfast is small, but there is enough of everything. The hotel is located in the very center, plus very close to the metro. I took off the star for the work of the reception, I would like the staff to solve problems more emotionally and actively. We also ended up in Minsk during the race, the streets were blocked, and we could not leave for several hours, which the hotel did not warn us about. However, thank you very much for allowing me to leave my car in the parking lot at this time.
My wife and I stayed at this beautiful hotel in June 2024. The hotel is located in the historical center of Minsk. Near the town hall, Nemiga metro station. It's not far from the railway station. Within walking distance of chain grocery stores, restaurants and cafes, all sorts of harmful things like "KFC", etc.
When entering the hotel, do not forget to shake hands with the lamppost in front of the porch. ;)
The staff is friendly, polite, helpful and does everything (within their competence) to solve all the problems of the guests.
At the reception, you can pay with the original postcard "MIR", but! The OZON Bank's MIR card does not work in the Republic of Belarus, keep this in mind. It was a complete surprise for me.
The breakfasts are delicious. The assortment is about the same, but varies slightly from morning to morning, the assortment is large, you can always choose something for yourself. I was glad that the coffee machine makes coffee.
The rooms, stylized as monastic cells, are equipped with everything necessary: a large wardrobe, a table, a tea and coffee set, an LCD TV, a mirror, a mini-refrigerator, a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer, soap and soap. The windows are double, therefore, the evening noise of the festivities was cut off with a bang.
Despite the good audibility from the corridor, no one interfered or made any noise.
By the way, there is an ironing board in the hallway.
Cleaning is daily and for 5 points.
There is not enough light in the room, but it does not bother, because, for example, there are bedside lamps for reading.
Now about why I took off one star. I wanted to take off more, but my hand did not rise. The hotel has a central air conditioning system, which... TADAM!!! It didn't work. And when it will work (according to the staff) is unknown, because it is on prevention. In high season, yeah, very smart. There is (probably) a bar in the hotel (there is a sign), but it does not work. The W-Fi network in the room disappeared several times, moreover, there was no network in the nearest rooms either, and it was impossible to reach the reception. The specialist came once, corrected it, the next day the same testicles again, but in profile. The specialist came again and redid everything. This time everything worked until we left. In my presence, one of the guests complained about the poor operation of the refrigerator in the room, to which he received the answer that it was more decor, not a refrigerator.
I'm shooting one star for these flaws and "decor", despite the fact that I liked the hotel as a whole. We're going to come back here and see what's changed.
P.S. Minsk is a wonderful city. Calm, safe, clean and somehow warm, "lamp-like". But not a shovel! This is a modern metropolis, where modern buses and electric trolleybuses, similar to spaceships, dissect along wide avenues, where the number of electric vehicles per unit area exceeds expectations. By the way, the numbers and letters on the license plates of such "commuter trains" are green. I would not be surprised if the owners of such cars have any "buns" from the state.
The hotel is in a great location, many attractions are "close by"
A beautiful authentic hotel with a beautiful territory.
There were no problems with parking, we registered at the reception and parked easily on the territory of the hotel itself.
Our room was lovely, 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and a shower. We woke up in the morning to the sound of bells!
The room had everything necessary for living, slippers, hygiene products and bathrobes.
Of the wishes, I would like to have working refrigerators in the room, we had one, but unfortunately it did not work and we had to throw out some food.
We had breakfast included in the accommodation and here, of course, I want to put a fat minus to the restaurant!
The assortment is meager and not tasty,
an omelet, as if cooked in the evening, cherished vegetables, there was no baking, only not baked pancakes with jam!
Recommendation for restaurant visitors and for the administration:
There is a showcase at the distribution, which is not intended for a buffet. To take butter, sour cream, you need to open the door of the showcase, lifting it up, when you bring a plate to put food for yourself, this leaf, which is very heavy, falls on your plate. It happened here, the window sash fell and broke the plate in his hands, the fragments cut the child's leg, not much, but still…
Please take note!
Of course, we will not set foot in a restaurant that cannot be called a restaurant anymore, but we will stay at the hotel with pleasure, but without "breakfast"
An excellent hotel, an interesting interior corresponding to the name - the rooms look like a cell, it would seem gloomy - but in fact it is very cozy and, importantly, you really relax in such an environment. Good mattresses/pillows/blankets.
The location is also in the very center, you can walk everywhere.
There is parking on site.
They always promptly answer questions, calls or WhatsApp.
It just seemed strange the choice of the room by the staff - they booked 2 rooms at the same time - one for two and the second for one person, so one person was given a large room, and a small one for two.
We found out the next morning when I went to my friend's room. Of course, no one began to change, but it seems to me that the staff could initially think through such things.
I'm shooting a star for breakfast.
With a breakfast cost of 30byn (1000 rub), serve such low-quality food…
Moreover, it is clear that the products are purchased well and in sufficient quantity, the execution suffers:
All pancakes / cheesecakes / draniki are fried in some old oil and are literally soaked in it.
Pancakes are always filled at once, although, for example, I would rather choose what to eat them with.
The fried eggs are not cooked, that is, the raw yolk is left and there is snot around it.
Then it all lies and gets covered with a nasty film (I'll even attach a photo) and besides, it's just dangerous.
Also after 10 a.m. (although breakfast is announced before 11) you should be ready to come to the leftovers.
In general, it is better to use this money to go to any nearby cafe and eat there.
I hope the administration will pay attention to this and correct the situation, because my review on the topic of breakfast is not the first.
And so - if we go to Minsk again - we would definitely choose this hotel again.
A wonderful hotel. It is greeted by a beautiful, well-groomed territory. It is located in the historical center, near the embankment, the metro is 5 minutes away. The interior is wonderful, antique and atmospheric. The bathroom is clean, with a full set of accessories. The room has a TV, cups, kettle, tea, coffee, water, Wi-Fi is available. The staff is polite, they will explain everything and prompt you. I recommend you to visit.
An interesting, unusual place in the heart of the old town. The room is spacious, clean, with solid wooden furniture. The staff is polite and friendly. Daily cleaning service. Breakfast is included in the room rate, the usual modest buffet. The authentic atmosphere of the monastery with a history. I definitely recommend it to those for whom the priority is in the proximity of the main attractions of the city! Nearby there are restaurants, bars, cafes, coffee shops for every taste and budget.
Of the advantages: in general, the room (single), and in general the hotel, is very good and cozy in its own way. There is a large wardrobe, a safe, a plasma TV and a kettle in the room. There is an ironing board in the open access on the floor.
A buffet breakfast costs 32 bel.rub. (if you have an early check-in, breakfast is not included in the price)
A set lunch here is 15 rubles.
They write that they change towels every 3 days, but they change them for us every day.
The room has its own balcony with a table and 2 chairs where you can sit and relax.
The breakfast itself is good, there is a large selection. The only thing is to put weathered pancakes with oak edges (they seem to remain from previous days) - the norm.
Among the disadvantages: it shows about 30 channels, of which 10 channels are Belarus 1, 2,3,4,5; Monastyrsky 1,2,3 and 7 musical channels.
There is no refrigerator
The air conditioner lives a separate life, and the setup instructions do not help at all. It is impossible to adjust the desired temperature. Turn it on and off when you need it, too.
Every day after cleaning, tea bags or water are not brought, only for an additional fee (water 85 kopecks)
They write that there is a "gym". What it really looks like - see the photo below. They just put it in a cubicle. Until recently, they thought that these were broken exercise machines.
The closet stinks of something, but for someone it is not so noticeable or important.
We had a rest with my husband at the hotel from May 27 to 31. The location of the hotel is very convenient in the very center of the city, near the metro, all attractions, shopping centers, restaurants and banks for currency exchange (if necessary). The room has everything necessary for human needs, a safe, extra pillows and blankets. The room was cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, bed linen was changed twice. We took accommodation with breakfast. This is very convenient so that you don't have to run around in the morning looking for somewhere to eat. The breakfasts are monotonous, but everything is very tasty and fresh. You definitely won't be hungry. There is no refrigerator in the room, but a refrigerator can be used at the reception. Inconvenient, but you can do it. I will pay special attention to the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet, cozy place next to the Temple. The sacred land! How nice it is to wake up in the morning to the sound of bells) The best recommendations. We will definitely return and only to this hotel. We are not even going to consider the others.
I have already visited the hotel 2 times, and I will come for the third time!Everything is great:the location is top-notch, many excursions start near the hotel, the breakfasts are good, the staff is responsive, they immediately respond to treatment. The rooms are well-furnished, you wake up in the morning to the sound of bells. The price of accommodation is quite affordable. Thank you for a wonderful stay, look forward to visiting again!
I recommend 100%
Very convenient location!
Near the collection of all excursions, near the most entertaining Zybitskaya street. You can also go there and take a walk to the Trinity suburb, not far from the cancer suburb, the metro. In general, the location is very good.
The atmosphere in the hotel is interesting, the rooms are located in cells. The breakfast is classic. You can find something to eat.
I recommend living for 2 days, well, three at most and changing places
The hotel is located in the very center of Minsk in the Upper Town area. The hotel is located in a former monastery building and the rooms are stylized as monks' cells, furnished with massive furniture, lamps stylized as candlesticks in the room. All this adds mystery and mystery!!! It seems that now a monk in a black robe will come around the bend!
At the same time, the rooms are equipped with all the attributes of a modern hotel. And also in this hotel there is a secret and mysterious room of the monk's Cell, which the hotel staff will take you to and show you something!!! So you definitely need to stay at this hotel. And in general, there are a lot of interesting things there!
The perfect hotel, which is located in the center of the center of Minsk! Everything is nearby, full of cafes and restaurants. All the sights are just a step away from the hotel. The hotel itself is very beautiful, cozy, unusual! The staff is helpful and pleasant. There is a free luggage storage, which is very convenient to walk without a suitcase and then pick it up)) I highly recommend it!
Nice hotel in the historical center of Minsk. Convenient location, nice to walk around.
Unusual rooms - cells, we thought it would be "gloomy", but it turned out to be comfortable, a comfortable bed, clean rooms without an extraneous smell, only there is a smell in the closets, we did not clean things in them.
The room has everything you need, except a refrigerator! In hot weather, this is a big minus. But at the reception they offer to put the necessary things in the shared refrigerator.
Bath, facial and foot towels are changed daily in the room, shampoo, soap, gel and a shower cap are put in. There is no toothpaste and no brush.
A one-time compliment is a bottle of water, a tea bag and coffee. There is an electric kettle in the room, they offer to dial water in the tap or buy bottled water.
The breakfasts at the hotel are not luxurious, but edible, there is something for everyone, they did not go hungry.
There are set meals, but we didn't get to them, we were far from this place.
Overall, the impression is good, the staff is polite. The hotel and rooms are quiet, only on weekends you can hear music from neighboring bars through the open window in the evenings, this did not bother us. The room has a TV and Wi-Fi.
The hotel is located in the very center, in a pedestrian zone. A small quest is how to drive a car into the parking lot or into the yard. Parking is paid (19 Belarusian rubles per day).
The room is small, but cozy, and has everything you need. The bedding and linen are of good quality. There is a very strong and loud ventilation in the bathroom, which turns on at the same time as the light and makes noise like a fighter taking off.
For breakfast there is a large selection of different dishes from cottage cheese casserole and pancakes to pancakes, pork meatballs and various egg dishes. The only drawback is very few vegetables and fruits.
All the staff are very nice, friendly and friendly.
I liked everything: the hotel, the service. The courtyard of the hotel is beautifully decorated. You can take beautiful photos. The main thing is that the walls are thick and you can't hear the neighbors, you can only hear from the hallway.Breakfasts are just a fairy tale, for every taste -porridge, milk, cutlets, meat, sausages, sausages, salads. Delicious coffee. The girls at the reception are polite, they will tell you everything. We returned from a walk at one o'clock in the morning, a girl is sitting at the reception. They treat their work in good faith. The rooms are clean, the toiletries are all in abundance. We visited the sauna, everything is great. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends.
Great hotel, we had a rest in October. The rooms are cozy - the cells, the linen and towels are snow-white, cleaned every day. There is a kettle and tea bags in the room, there is no refrigerator. There are many places to eat nearby. The location is very advantageous, the historical part of the city, the center. Nearby is the Trinity suburb, the town hall, etc., you can walk to the Komarovsky market. The only thing is that the breakfasts could be better, or rather better and tastier.
I lived in a single room from October 10 to 12, 2024. A wonderful hotel in the heart of Minsk - the restored Upper Town, all the sights are at hand. The room is spacious, cozy, with its own access to the "terrace". The buffet breakfast was full and varied. Of the cons: it was hot, the air conditioner was working all the time, which could not be turned off, constant ventilation saved; there was no refrigerator.
A very nice hotel with clean rooms and a convenient location for walking. The service is unobtrusive and ready to help. We liked almost everything. The only thing that got in the way a little was the presence of bars and discos on the next street. You can't sleep with the window open. But these are all small things.
A great place in the most historic part of the city. Nearby attractions and a museum. There is a tour agency on site. The room is clean and has everything you need. The breakfast is good, a little monotonous, but it will work in principle. The staff is polite. We booked it a month and a half before the trip.
I'm thrilled! A great hotel right in the center, there are many places where you can walk from it. The renovation is modern, very clean, the beds are comfortable, the room has everything you need, the room is just huge, the cleaning is on top. We were pleased with the delicious breakfasts, they cook very well. I recommend it!
The hotel is atmospheric. It is located, as the name implies, in the building where the monastery was located. Good repair, high ceilings. The city center. Within walking distance of public transport stops, metro station, cafes and shops. There is also a bus stop nearby, from where sightseeing buses depart. The territory is closed, to enter by private car, you need to contact the administrator. They don't spoil the breakfasts with pickles, but you won't stay hungry: porridge, omelette, scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. In the evenings, artists perform in the neighborhood, so with the windows open, it's a little noisy. The staff is friendly and sociable. It is worth a visit to plunge into this atmosphere.
Sooo interesting rooms, or rather monastic cells, the atmosphere is fantastic, the breakfasts are quite enough not to stay hungry, the location in the very historical center of Minsk, friendly staff at the reception, there is a kettle in the room, so you can have a cup of hot tea in the evening, there are no complaints about audibility in the rooms. We really liked the hotel!
Very convenient location. The city center, close to the metro. It is very convenient that in the evening there are places nearby where you can walk. And after a walk through the very center of the city, you do not need to get to the hotel for a long time. Before choosing a hotel, I read the reviews and it was in the reviews that it was noisy, the music of the nearby establishments was very audible. It is really audible, but very muffled. I was comfortable, nothing prevented me from sleeping. Very comfortable beds. The number corresponds to the photo. An atmospheric place. Being in the hotel, you can feel the soul of this place. The breakfasts were not as pleasant as the hotel. It's quite tasty, but the look of the tartlets spoiled the impression. They didn't look very fresh. This is the only disadvantage in this wonderful hotel. I recommend. It's a beautiful place.
It is conveniently located in the very center of the city, but this can create problems with taxi access.
Breakfasts are nothing extraordinary, but it is quite possible to have a good meal.
The rooms are quite cozy, the bathroom is spacious.
The air conditioners in the rooms work quite cunningly, just setting up "I want 19 degrees" will not work.
Bottled water at the reception is noticeably cheaper than in stores.
A very nice place!! Authentic interiors, friendly staff, good breakfasts, location in the very historical center. Various events are often held nearby, and you find yourself in the center of events!
Shops and transport stops are within walking distance.
Everything is super clean and tidy, the surroundings correspond to the name of the institution, the cells are very cozy!
It was cool in the morning, because of the wooden windows, they are not old, just wooden.
The breakfast is excellent, the standard hotel buffet - the food is consistently served, the pallets are not empty
I liked the hotel very much, the staff was adequate, the rooms were pleasantly surprised in the style of an ancient monastery (in a good way) I can't hear the neighbors, the windows are shuttered (very unusual), the location is very convenient. The kitchen is very average, we took breakfast and were glad that we took only breakfast, but it did not spoil the impression of the hotel,
The hotel is located in the central part of Minsk, near the Nemiga metro station, it is convenient to see the main sights and take a walk. The hotel has underground Parking for a fee, water and all hygiene products in the room, clean and cozy, slippers were provided on request. Breakfast is fine.
The hotel is located in the center, near the Nemiga metro station and all the central attractions, there is underground Parking for an additional fee, the rooms have everything except slippers and bathrobes (slippers were given on request), breakfasts are modest, but there is a choice. The rooms are clean and cozy, although renovated, but there is a certain touch of antiquity and mystery.
Great hotel!
The rooms, the bathroom are clean, the bed linen is snow-white, the bed is comfortable. The girls at the reception are friendly, they helped with all the questions.
The hotel has a luggage storage room, you can leave your belongings before departure. If necessary, you can book a transfer to the airport.
Near the reception you can buy souvenirs, hygiene products, alcohol.
There is an ironing board and an iron on each floor.
The breakfasts are normal, delicious cottage cheese, cheesecakes.
The hotel itself is atmospheric, with high ceilings, steep stairs, beautiful furniture (the chairs are incredibly comfortable, I want to go home now!) The windows are double, so you can't hear the noise from the street if you close everything.
The ideal location is the city center, a pedestrian zone, there are many restaurants around, all interesting places in the city can be reached on foot, not far away, within walking distance of the Svisloch embankment, the Bolshoi Theater, the Trinity suburb. There are several metro stations nearby - a 15-minute direct drive to the National Library. The tourist bus stop is also nearby, a five-minute walk.
What I didn't like was a low-power hair dryer, long hair is difficult to dry, and there is no refrigerator in the room. But these are small things.
I will be happy to stop here again.
A magnificent hotel in the very center of Minsk. There are many museums, Catholic and Orthodox churches, many restaurants and nightclubs, casinos nearby. The place for collecting bus tours is a 3-minute walk away. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfasts at the hotel are delicious and quite varied. If desired, you can have lunch, taking a business lunch for only 150 Belarusian rubles. The only thing that was missing a little bit was the refrigerator!!! And, attention! Proximity to nightclubs has its consequences - music can be heard through open windows. Not very loud, but still... We were closing the window - absolute silence! We will definitely return to the hotel if possible.
Nice hotel. Honest 3 stars, the room is not big, but cozy. All correspond to the declared level. Good territory. I give 5 stars for the location of the hotel. Great place! The monastery quarter is also the upper town. All the sights are within walking distance. All the most popular restaurants of the city are nearby in 1 minute walk, I recommend
Convenient location, historical city center, all attractions within walking distance. The hotel is located in a 17th century building, spacious rooms, cleaning every day, delicious breakfasts, polite and helpful staff.
We stayed at the hotel in August 2024. The rooms are great, but the tap water is only warm, there is no hot water. A separate parking fee is a minus. The breakfasts are wonderful, delicious, and there is a large selection. Dinners, complex, I do not advise you to use the word at all. The location of the hotel is super, everything is nearby, you can walk around. Minus - there is absolutely nowhere to eat, only cafeterias, fast food and queues at cafes and restaurants with normal cuisine. You need to book in advance. There are no shops either, so this is the center, prepare for this in advance.
Very nice hotel in the city center. There are many attractions within walking distance.
The hotels have three floors (there is an elevator). The walls are thick and there is almost no audibility.
Nice staff. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Delicious breakfasts.
Advantages:
Good location, atmospheric hotel.
That's probably all
Minuses:
The shower in the room is leaking, you wash faster so that less leaks on the floor.
Breakfasts are cheaper as in the dining room.
To connect the Internet, you need to complete a whole quest.
Turn on the TV. There will be no Internet without it. The air conditioning system is actually something. You won't turn it on yourself, you have to call the reception. That is, at night you want to turn it off, you get up and call again, you want to turn it on, you get up and call again .
The taxi does not arrive at the hotel, you have to walk for about five minutes. And during this time, the taxi can cancel the trip. In general, the price and quality are lame
There is no iron! One for the whole floor! You stand and wait for others to iron your clothes
Music is blaring outside the windows until 3 a.m. You can hear it even through earplugs .
The breakfasts look like cattle have been fed . It 's disgusting to eat !
I do not recommend it!!!!
A magnificent hotel! Convenient location, within walking distance of Nemiga metro station, restaurants, cafes, bars, museums and local attractions.
Attentive staff, it was cool in the room with the star, they called the reception, we quickly adjusted the temperature to a comfortable one.
Excellent breakfasts.
The family suite had two cozy rooms and a spacious hall between them. Two bathrooms, all in excellent condition, pillows and blankets are very comfortable and in excellent condition.
The interior and the friendly lantern at the entrance add positive emotions to your stay. We will be happy to return.
The hotel is good. The location is in the center, close to all attractions. There is a restaurant with reasonable prices. On-site parking is very convenient for the center, because there are few parking lots in the center.
We were in Minsk in August, stayed at the Monastyrsky Hotel. If you need an experience, then this is the hotel. A gorgeous place, atmospheric - a former monastery, a building of the XVII century, rooms - former cells with all amenities. You walk around the hotel like you walk through a museum. There are photo zones on the territory of the hotel, which are interesting not only for children, but also for adults. And how nice it is to wake up in the morning with the bright sun, to the singing of birds and the ringing of bells. The hotel staff (I don't like the word staff) are kind, friendly, and react quickly if something happens. The food in the restaurant (we only had breakfast) is everything you need for breakfast and nutritious. The rooms are very clean, comfortable beds, TV, table, chairs, spacious wardrobe. And of course the location of the hotel itself is the city center. Thanks! The trip to Belarus took place 100% thanks to this hotel. I decided for myself that if I go to Minsk again, I will choose this hotel again.
I am staying at this hotel for the second time. I was here for the first time about 5 years ago.
Among the advantages: the historical center, rooms stylized as cells, the hotel itself with a history, walking distance to attractions and the metro. Good bed linen.
Of the cons: 1. Breakfasts have become weaker. Yesterday's pies. There is only one salad spoon. It used to be both tastier and more aesthetically pleasing.
2. There are no toothbrushes and slippers in the room. Maybe the Bernardine monks didn't need it at the time, but modern guests would really like to have these attributes in the room.
3. In addition to the main entrance to the hotel, which is located next to the reception, another door on the ground floor was opened. It's not safe. Anyone could have got there from the street.
4. The water in the room was put on only 1 time upon check-in. There are no updates, you need to buy them yourself. It's not very convenient.
The huge advantages of the hotel are its amazing energy (I slept as well as I rarely have!) and the location in the very historical center. I really liked the quality in the courtyard: it is easy to be transported back to childhood and into a state of serenity!
I looked at the engravings and photographs on the walls of the hotel for a long time, I wanted to study the history of what is depicted on them more deeply.
Within walking distance of all the best that a guest of beautiful Minsk may need!
Thanks!
Nice hotel! Close to the center, beautiful views all around. Nice room design, there are sockets, air conditioning, safe. Bed linen is changed often, cleaned well. Breakfast is edible, but monotonous and not everything is delicious, this is perhaps the only disadvantage.
I really liked the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious, the breakfasts are delicious, the girls at the reception are very polite and friendly. It is conveniently located near the metro station, near the Orthodox Cathedral.
We liked the hotel, authentic in the city center.
The rooms are warm (I was afraid it would be cool in winter), hot water with good pressure, there are breakfasts, a variety of local products, they cook well.
It was inconvenient only to order a taxi, because the center is pedestrian and taxis do not pass there.
The location is in the very center, close to restaurants and shops. The atmosphere of the old town, the room is spacious, clean, everything works, the cleaning is daily. The food is of high quality, the standard set of dishes
