Having arrived in Minsk for one day, I decided not only to see this city, but also to try it to the national taste. I looked for a cafe in the vicinity of the place where I was staying, and so I found out about the cafe "Pansky Dranik", read the reviews and decided to go there for a snack after the train. Polite staff, good service, delicious pancakes with sponge. Layered sweet Napoleon for dessert - swallow your tongue. The cafe has a very cozy atmosphere, decent music from Soviet times and more modern sounds softly, and, I must say, the prices are adequate. The disadvantages can only be attributed to the popularity of the institution - on a weekend in the interval from 14:00 to 20:00 to have a delicious lunch with borscht, it's not a fact that it will turn out because of the full house, I was lucky - the girls went to meet me, apparently as a guest from Russia, and sat at a reserved table, he would anyway It was empty for another hour and a half. They didn't leave me hungry. My best New Year wishes to the team of the Pansky dranik, they do their job perfectly.

A great place for those who like to eat a lot and tasty. Very, very large portions 😱 Seriously, really evaluate your capabilities! Some dishes are not really possible to eat alone. Being in Minsk on vacation with my family for several days, the first time we came by accident, the second time we returned purposefully, because we really liked it. I will recommend this establishment to all my friends and acquaintances, if it arrives in the area of the "Upper Town".

It's just wonderful! I was looking for a place where I could have dinner with national Belarusian cuisine on a Friday evening at the end of August. I purposefully went to a famous cafe located nearby. But everything turned out to be occupied. And there was live music playing loudly, which is a minus. Quite by chance I saw the entrance here, the place was found. All the dishes were served quickly enough. Everything is fresh and very tasty. I strongly recommend it!

The story is about how I wanted to eat real pancakes in Minsk. This institution was chosen through a deeply scientific poke.
Literally on the threshold you bump into "authenticity", which in fact is a banal lack of repair. Authenticity is when it looks shabby, but the plaster does not fall off. It was falling off near our table in the corner.
The waiter did not meet, you had to go to him behind the counter. There is only one air conditioner for the entire room and it is very stuffy in summer.
Sticky tables, which, to the credit of the staff, are still wiped, also did not add pleasant impressions. The staff themselves are sad and tired, if you are waiting for service, then do not wait. They threw us a slightly irritated "sit down" and didn't even say goodbye.
And all this can be forgiven if the food turns out to be delicious in the end. But even here it passes by.
We ordered pancakes with mushrooms, pancakes with machanka and sorcerers. Those two pancakes that were served with mushrooms tasted with sour milk sourness, as if pancakes were cooked on kefir, and the mushrooms were very strongly salted, almost on the verge of over-salting. But the mushrooms themselves are delicious and fragrant. Draniki with machanka looked like ordinary pancakes, and in machanka there was only chicken meat and one type of sausage, it was thickened not by long stewing, but by flour, which made it look more like a mediocre beef stroganoff from the school cafeteria. The wizards weren't much better, but they also had a lot of flour in them and looked more like a pancake.
In general, I would not believe the rave reviews, I would not expect miracles from the place. As for the prices, I can't say anything. In general, they seem to be low, but with such an assessment, you expect more. At least some delicious pancakes in a place called "dranik"

We came to taste Belarusian cuisine. I liked the convenient location, the interior was made with a soul. There are a lot of people who come to eat. Food.. Not mine. I ate pancakes in a pot. It's very greasy and burnt from the bottom. But the portions are large. I didn't like it - the unhappy face of the waitress, who was without a badge, so I don't know the name.. I recommended a very tasteless dish to my husband.. black pudding) he basically eats everything, but even he couldn't).. we asked the waitress to pack this uneaten dish with us (to the dog) - again a disgruntled face..

You will come to Minsk with a friend for the first time. We looked at places on the Internet where there are draniki. We found this place. We were greeted by a wonderful waiter. She served us at the tower level, we were surprised. We ordered draniki and borscht. A quiet, pleasant place, although it is located on a tourist street, but there was a free table, and the price tag was pleasantly surprised. The tables are separated from each other, except for the central ones, so you can have some privacy. There is also a bar for those who are interested in it. The menu is not overblown, but everything is in style. We really wanted to eat at this place. But, alas... there was almost a full landing in the cafe, one large table was free, at which we could be seated, but they warned that other guests would be seated. My husband and I, of course, were not satisfied with this, we did not come to the dining room. Literally, two tables were vacated with us, but they refused to put us there, because after an hour there were three reservations, and we were offered to sit down only for an hour. But, when visiting such establishments, as a rule, they rest for a couple of hours at least. This proposal was not just incorrect, but tactless. We didn't come to the food court for a quick snack. And when asked that "you will also be kicked out of other tables," they said that other tables had also been warned.
As a result, we left hungry, very upset and, perhaps, we will no longer go to the courtyard of the institution about visiting the city of Minsk. The waiters were not interested in serving us in any way, offering absurd options.
