A magnificent museum, simply amazing, front-line vehicles, airplanes, machine guns. An intelligent guide, two hours of guided tours in a flash. A competent exposition. I highly recommend you to visit.
I really liked the museum. The exhibits are selected correctly, according to the theme. Real equipment, spacious halls.
I stopped for a long time at the picture of the "day of the war" when the enemy entered the village / town. Everyone does something different - who runs, who resists, who tries to evacuate people, and a wounded person from the Jewish people performs the last rite over the deceased (probably a brother).
It will take a long time to tell, you will be in Minsk (as I have been for several days), come here, at least for an hour. You will find your own.
Was. Just outside. I didn't go inside. I liked the building externally. There is also a monument and a park nearby. Collectively, they make a monumental impression. There is a bike path nearby.
A super museum. Very interesting! I recommend taking a guided tour. You will learn a lot of new information. Good exposure. I recommend a mandatory visit.
It's a very cool place. I recommend visiting both adults and children, and the whole family! There is really something to see, to study, to understand, to feel. A very strong place. I regret that I got there for the first time only last year
I would put a thousand stars on the museum itself, but it's a pity for the organization and the administration staff to put even one…
I'll tell you a story about how we tried to get on a museum tour for two days in a row.
We arrived on August 10 at five in the evening (two hours before closing)
At our request to buy tickets with an excursion, the cashier snorted with displeasure that, in fact, they have all excursions until 16:00 at most (apparently, the guides rest 3 hours before closing)
An important point! We asked about booking an excursion for tomorrow, to which the answer was given that they do not book excursions
We decided to take an audio guide, to which the answer was received that they were all already on charge
They asked how many times we should come tomorrow, so that we could not just read the description of the exhibits, but listen to a professional guide
We received an answer: "come tomorrow at 15:00, we are in the midst of excursions at this time,"
Said and done. Already at 14:30 we were at the museum at the ticket office. And lo and behold! The same cashier.
We say: "please, we need two tickets with an excursion"
The answer, apparently recorded on the subcortex, did not take long to wait: "all the excursions have already ended, the audio guides are on recharge"
We just bought entrance tickets and decided to contact the reception desk
At this counter, a nice young girl told us that the last tour took place at 14:00 (sorry, but for 5!!!! hours before closing)
Of course, the audio guides are already on charge. After all, 1,500 people have already passed before us, as we were told.
Apparently, the 1501 and 1502 employees have already exhausted their strength.....
The woman checking the tickets barked at us that we ourselves can actually walk around the museum and read normally.
Let's go-the fairy tale museum! Very beautiful exhibitions and exhibits.
But we managed to read a little… As well as to learn something about the museum. There are hundreds of portraits behind the windows. Only the full name and title are signed under them. What this man did, guess for yourself.
Combat vehicles have only those. specifications. Where this car fought, whether it fought at all-also find out, apparently, on the Internet.
After going through the entire museum, we decided to leave a review, asking for a special book provided in all museums. Surprisingly, she wasn't there when I decided to mention that I wanted to leave a review specifically about the employees and their work so that the higher-level administration could pay attention to it. I asked where I could leave a review then. The receptionist girl said that on Yandex maps. But what about the official website of the museum, where the staff should definitely read reviews? The girl told me about him only after my mention.
Of course, I decided to ask how we could still get on the tour, because there are a lot of questions left.... You won't believe it! It turns out that there is a record that the cashier staff for some reason do not know about!
I decided to clarify when it is possible to get at least to the audio guides.
The answer made us smile nervously: "they work with us from morning to four in the evening" (apparently people who want to come to the museum after 4, for a minute, three hours before closing, do not have the right to listen to at least an audio guide, I am already silent about the guide ...)
Why did I smile nervously? Yes, because the audio guides, which, according to them, work until 4, were already on charge at 2..
Then the girl, apparently, got very nervous from the fact that I was at her, at the administrator, decided to clarify some questions (to be honest, I thought it was her responsibility) and decided to tell me all her dissatisfaction
, "Actually, I already gave out 20 today!!!! audio guides" (heroine)
How strange it was to hear this after we were informed that 1,500 people had already passed today.
I was surprised and decided to ask again if they really have only 20 audio guides for such a number of visitors???
The girl, not understanding why we were so surprised, replied: "Well, yes"
And the administrator decided to finish us off at the end, saying: "Actually, we had Italians, French, and Portuguese here before you, we want to give them audio guides to listen to"
We just fell out. That is, the Portuguese should listen, but we, the Russians, the fraternal people, do not....?
Is this Russianism in the museum of the Great Patriotic War? It's even scary…
I ask you to draw the attention of the museum administration to the work of your staff and give an answer that you have read this comment. Otherwise, I will send this comment to higher authorities.
The museum is wonderful, but we came out of it from head to toe…
Imagine with what an unpleasant aftertaste we had to walk around the museum
I am very impressed with the scale of the complex. And types of weapons. Of the expositions, I liked the multimedia of events for a certain period. Newsreel. I would like more material to be viewed. And headphones would be. I really liked the story about Operation Bagration. And the most "cherry", the top floor with a wall of memory. I would like to suggest putting an eternal flame there. I couldn't book a tour. Since all the guides were busy, so I can't appreciate it.
We visited a group tour, we really liked the guide, he told us everything clearly and interestingly. There are a lot of exhibits: there are military equipment, weapons, and expositions of military situations, letters, personal belongings of wartime heroes. There is a cafe and a souvenir shop at the museum.
An excellent museum, I recommend it to everyone. It is better to go with a guide, then you will feel the whole point better. Belarus remembers, honors and commemorates the tragedy of the Great Patriotic War.
The museum is huge, very impressive. There are a lot of exhibits, an interesting story from the guide, for not very much money. I advise everyone to visit this museum, especially with children.
One of the best WWII museums that we managed to see. Modern installations, full immersion in the era of heroes and liberators. It gives me goosebumps! It is definitely recommended to visit.
A magnificent museum that you can visit again! Very patriotic! I wanted to compare it with the museum-panarama "Battle of Stalingrad"...Two different admirable museums! Be sure to visit . Convenient Parking, beautiful park. In a word, it's great!
Unfortunately, there were no excursions. The museum is impressive!!! Expositions are taken "for a living". I really liked it. We will definitely come back. Only with a guide for sure
A huge and interesting museum. The staff are both friendly and bored with life)) If you're lucky.. . It's a pity there wasn't enough time and just the same human attitude to fully appreciate the entire exposition (we galloped through Europe at closing time... We were not allowed to go to the second round even if there was time ...) for the sake of checking the norms. But there was something else to check out
There is a large museum, a lot of weapons of various types, there are WWII equipment. A very interesting exposition, especially dedicated to the partisans. I advise you to visit.
One of the best museums I've been to, everything is incredibly interesting, I stood at every stand, I read it. My great-grandmother was a partisan and the museum has a separate room dedicated to the birth of the partisan movement in Belarus, which is very interesting.
A wonderful museum of the Great Victory!I recommend it!He talks in great detail about the Great Patriotic War, you can get acquainted with facts, artifacts, heroic deeds of Soviet people, military equipment and atrocities of the fascist invaders. It is better to use the services of professional guides to fully perceive and understand the exhibits of the museum.I am very glad that I visited.
I've been planning to visit Minsk for a long time...
and now April 2024, let's go!!!! From Yaroslavl to Minsk via Bryansk!!!! Minsk is certainly great!!!! Clean, cozy, well done DAD!!!! The museum is cool, modern and interesting!!! I will definitely come again
I highly recommend it to everyone and definitely! You also need a guide, you won't regret it. I cried for half the exposure. A very rich museum, modern, very high-quality and wisely made. I was born and grew up in the USSR, it was interesting to listen to this common story of ours from the Belarusian side. I recommend.
The museum's expositions are breathtaking. From the first steps, you immerse yourself in the history of the Great Patriotic War, you forget about time moving from hall to hall. When planning to visit the museum, you expect that for two hours you will not be able to tear yourself away from what you saw and just leave. At the same time, leaving the museum you will find yourself in a park that will also not leave you indifferent.
A very majestic and fascinating museum. The topic of war has been truly revealed. One of the main attractions of Minsk. I think the place is a must-visit!
We visited the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk. A very interesting exposition, excellent guides. The museum justifies its purpose, it is clean, neat and informative. We recommend it for family visits.
War is not my topic, but even I was interested in the exposition. Real Soviet and German tanks, Soviet planes and Gemetsky models, and many other artifacts. The Victory Hall is located under the dome of the museum, which amazes to the depths of the soul with an abundance of sunlight and sky.
The best WWII museum that I managed to visit. You can't look at everything carefully at a time, but the atmosphere is very soulful. When we were at the museum, my daughter was a little old, but she remembered something anyway. This year we want to repeat the trip to Belarus, so in the list of places to visit in Minsk, husbands are in the first place. My daughter has grown up, so I will book a tour. Visit this museum, pass on to your children and grandchildren knowledge, memory and personal pride about this terrible war, so that it does not get lost and forgotten in memory. Have a nice day, everyone!
A magnificent museum! Thanks for the tour: the guide's story is very detailed, sensual, heartfelt (we were on the tour on 06/02/2024 at 15:00).
The museum itself has a huge collection of exhibits, everything is kept in perfect condition.
The museum is simply beautiful. The expositions are interesting, after the tour we walked around the museum once again to look at all the expositions, it was worth it, so that they would slowly plunge into the atmosphere and feel the full force of military events.
A very good museum! The guardians of our history. The exposition is presented informatively and worthily! Much attention is paid to the history of the partisan movement!
To all who read, good afternoon! The impression of the place was very good. We didn't take the tour, but in general everything is clear. The exhibits are clear, everything inside is beautiful and not dim. Most of all, I want to highlight the place where the ceiling is like a dome, it's very beautiful there!
I visited this exhibition with great interest. A lot of military equipment, planes, weapons, letters and various documents are silent witnesses to fascist crimes. I recommend everyone to visit there, and especially those who have begun to forget who makes us live in this world.
I am delighted, we walked around it 2 times, the first with a guide, and then again ourselves, because everything is so assembled, presented and shown. It is so realistic, the atmosphere is saturated with those realities of the world. And I was also very impressed by the paintings of prisoners, by the author M.A. Savitsky, in general, if you have the opportunity, go there, you will not regret it. This is our story, which I honor and is preserved in Belarus, where the Flag of the USSR is still flying
Perhaps this is the largest, most detailed, best, most-most museum about the Great Patriotic War. A magnificent exposition! Walking through the halls, you experience the whole range of emotions: pain from colossal human losses, compassion for the exhausted, tortured in camps, burned alive and poisoned in gas chambers, women, children, and the elderly. There are separate halls telling about the partisan movement in Belarus, one of the most massive in that war. You experience a storm of positive emotions in the Hall of Fame, where the names of those who died for the Motherland, for Victory, and for us to live in a free country are carved in gold letters in stone. And nostalgia for that huge, invincible, great country called the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will involuntarily rush in.
Only by visiting this museum can you realize that at that time there was no stronger and more powerful fist capable of stopping this fascist infection.
A very good museum of the city of Minsk dedicated to the memory of the history of the war audio guide is very good telling how the war went on there are also exhibits the tour was successful
An excellent museum, the expositions are made of high quality, it definitely takes your breath away when you start reading notes from the military in some halls, I recommend you to visit
The Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk is not just a museum, it is a place where you can plunge into the atmosphere of that time, feel the full weight of the war and pay tribute to all those who fought for our country. The museum's exposition is rich, with full-size models and real samples of military equipment that impress visitors. The guide takes us through all the halls of the museum quickly, but very informative, it is a pleasure to listen to his story. We were very impressed by visiting this museum and recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the Great Patriotic War.
I recommend every guest of Minsk to find time and get to this wonderful museum! Everything is very colorful and realistic! Be sure to take tickets from the excursions! The guide tells it so colorfully, everything is so competent right up to the goosebumps! My family and I are delighted! The best place in the last 5 years!
Full display of the Great Patriotic War.The greatness of the Soviet people, the heroism and tragedy of the Belarusian people. The history of the partisan movement, the greatness and heroism of the common people are shown. My brother died during the liberation of Belarus. He was buried in the village of Kosino, Lagoysky district.I have a deep respect for the people of Belarus, I wish them well, may there never be wars.I wish you peace.Glory to the heroes!
It's a great museum, there's a lot to see and the staff is qualified. There are a lot of impressions, the children are happy and fully charged with patriotism, they themselves are also completely delighted. We advise everyone
A grandiose place! It is very informative, visual and interesting. Definitely worth a visit. I have never seen a four-storey museum anywhere else. The impressions are only positive.
The museum is simply gorgeous! Thanks to the founders, creators, and employees for such a great job and for the fact that thanks to you, the feat of our people in the Great Patriotic War will never be forgotten by posterity.
An excellent museum of the Great Patriotic War, the composition and dioramas are very well made. On weekdays, the flow of people, especially in the morning, is small, so I advise you to come in in the morning
Everyone will like it!But maybe only very young children will not be able to get into it, although for them the scenery is like in a fairy tale, there is also a cafe, souvenirs, strong five stars. The topic is complicated, so I won't dwell on the meanings-I just need to go!!!
A wonderful museum! Great exposition, interesting presentation of information, well done guides! We went with the child 2 times. You can visit many times and learn something new.
An incredible museum that conveys the history of the Great Patriotic War. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail, each room leaves indescribable emotions.
We used the audio guide, which had 93 audio for 2.5 hours (the only thing sometimes jammed headphones)
The museum is a must-visit!
There are many halls, many illustrations, objects, sounds, and techniques. I really liked it. We ordered an excursion. Very informative.
By the way, for visitors, the museum is closed on Mondays (and we arrived on Mon for the first time)))
The Museum of Our Victory over the Fascist. That says it all. There are a lot of things you can look at and overestimate for yourself. I especially recommend it to children and teenagers. It is filled with great soul and pain, for fellow citizens of Belarusians and Soviet peoples.
A super museum. I advise everyone who comes to Minsk to visit. There are many exhibits, if desired, you can book a guided tour. But even you will have something to look at yourself
