A magnificent museum. I recommend a visit. Our story. The story of the people thanks to whom we are living now, those who sacrificed their lives for ours. That's how you can't act, considering that there is someone above and someone below. With gratitude and eternal memory to our forefathers for our peaceful sky.
A great historical place where everything that could be collected is collected. It makes you think and think about gratitude to our great-grandfathers for the fact that we are on this earth and exist in general, without the fascist yoke!
The museum is excellent and the staff is well chosen. Walking with a guide through different locations, you can 100% feel the history of our country in such difficult times
The museum is very impressive, 8 halls. I recommend using the services of a guide, you will not regret it. There are both military equipment and military weapons, installations. After visiting some of the halls, you keep thinking how people were able to survive and most importantly win such a terrible war. It is mandatory for everyone to visit.
I am very impressed! Large-scale, detailed, touching.... There are a lot of epithets, emotions cannot be conveyed. The guide is smart. I recommend visiting with children. In order not to forget the horrors of the war and its heroes, you need to go to such places. Thanks!
Large-scale and impressive, interesting. A planned tour will complement the experience. Therefore, you will not regret if you plan to spend time at the museum
I have been to many museums dedicated to the Second World War, but this one impressed me especially much, here the theme of those years is revealed with such depth that you immerse yourself morally in this state and, what I also really liked, the last Victory hall, bright, spacious, very beautiful, makes you leave the museum in a good mood. The expositions and everything that is presented in the museum are powerful, detailed, realistic, ... caused a lot of emotions, I definitely recommend you to visit!!!
If you are in Minsk, this is a mandatory point of visit! And definitely with a guided tour! Very well done and thought out! And most importantly, the museum focuses not on technology and schemes, but on people! To make it clear how our grandfathers and great-grandfathers remained human, lived, taught children and how they brought victory closer day by day! Be sure to visit with children! So that you know what the victory was worth! And what a price our ancestors paid for the fact that we are now free people!
It's a very interesting place. It can be liked by both adults and children. Take at least an audio guide, but it's better if you get in with a group. There are such guides, they take you by the soul.
There is a soldier's porridge in the cafe. They are quickly disassembled. Wardrobe is available. Toilets are normal. There is a souvenir shop.
a very decent place, everything is done with taste. high-quality, beautifully interesting. There are a lot of weapons. different times. undoubtedly, I advise you to go and make sure to take the children with you.
It's a good museum. The history of the Great Patriotic War in the territory of the Republic of Belarus is described in a very informative, detailed, and most importantly understandable way. We really liked it, the expositions are voluminous, large, everything is logical! I advise you to visit necessarily!
Only positive emotions remained from visiting this museum, large expositions of a lot of military equipment, polite staff, took a guide turned out to be a very competent and knowledgeable girl, well done, it was very interesting, I recommend
The museum is good, there are not many of them, if not a few. The red banner proudly unfurls on the dome. There are a lot of exhibits. The entrance price is acceptable. There are souvenirs and they are not expensive. But... There is a female employee in every room, she is a "spy" so that someone does not steal something somewhere. There are countless thematic stands, people watch and do not even imagine that behind each exhibit is the fate of a person, and sometimes his life, many lives. But if an employee would approach people, tell them, and not just be an overseer, it would not hurt, and it is expensive to book an excursion for two or three people. Otherwise, well done.
An amazing museum. For 3 years now, every 9th of May we go there with the whole family. Huge halls with various equipment and weapons. Excerpts from the life of that time are clearly shown. The big plane is not in the backyard. These are the kind of museums you want to go to. It makes learning history easier and more interesting.
The best museum of the Great Patriotic War that I have seen. The exhibits presented are real equipment, not dummies. Everything is very logically thought out: the hall of the partisan movement, the hall of the genocide of the Belarusian people, etc. And the victory hall is magnificent - stained glass windows, sunshine, joy!!!!!
When visiting Belarus and Minsk, a visit to the Museum of the Great Patriotic War is mandatory! Expect 2-3 hours for the museum, if you carefully inspect and read everything. Thank you to our compatriots for the victory and our lives!
The memory of the ancestors , the sadness of the people , all in one place . Very interesting exhibits, the story told there, will be remembered by you for the rest of your life!
A very good museum, the preservation of history is very important and necessary. Especially the facts about the Second World War. Large-scale exhibitions, cleanliness, good staff, professional tour, thank Dmitry for diving into the past. We will come again
I liked the museum very much, there are many large expositions and exhibits, many samples of captured weapons. There are many interactive displays with videos and photos chronicling those terrible years. A very beautiful and majestic building in which the museum is located. I definitely advise you to visit!!!
We were with our daughter. A must-visit place in Minsk, definitely. The parking lot on the understudy is small, but we were lucky and had a place. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the museum...there are no signs in the direction of the entrance. There is no exhibition of equipment on the street. The museum itself is built in the form of a spiral lift and halls on the levels. Equipment and weapons have been exhibited, and full-scale models with full-length mannequins of our soldiers have been created. Part of the exposition in the halls I riveted my daughter's eyes : according to the genocide of the Belarusian people by the Nazis, even I was afraid to watch. The apotheosis is the dome. We were lucky and it was a sunny day. The effect is 100 out of 100. There is a beautiful fountain and original metal structures of the museum on the street. I wanted to remove the star for the Soviet staff, in the worst sense of the word, but I did not because of the contents of the museum.
The best panoramic WWII museum in the world, without exaggeration! If you are in Minsk, especially with children, this is the first place to visit. Real exhibits, everything is so realistic that you seem to plunge headlong into the plots from the stories of your grandfathers. Thank you for such a museum!
If you are in Minsk, be sure to visit this museum. And it is better to take a tour, so it is clearer and you will learn more information. It's a must-see.
A great place for the history of the Second World War. And the fate of Belarus at this time. I definitely recommend it for visits. I was very pleased that there are discounts for admission by a large family and a donor, despite the fact that we are guests from Russia. Very friendly staff
We definitely recommend you to visit!!! Both the museum itself and the museum staff carry out a mission to preserve and perpetuate the memory of the Great Victory over Fascism.
serdg163 cons- the audio guide changed sound problems three times, prices in cafes are not too high for Belarus, restaurant prices for food in plastic containers without production dates with plastic devices.
A must-visit: interesting, long, impressionable! Amazing exposure for all ages! There is power in memory!

The best museum about the Great Patriotic War. An amazing multi-level exposition, many exhibits and documents about the war not only in Belarus, but also throughout the Union. It is necessary to bring children here so that they remember...
A very very cool museum. We Minsk residents thought for a long time whether to go, since the theme of the museum is heavy, plus we thought that there would be more helmets of all kinds, shoulder straps and everything, but no, what is there only a hall with partisan huts or a huge hall with a large number of equipment and airplanes under the roof!I'm a girl and it was very interesting to me, I stayed here then, to my surprise, for 4 hours!!!I liked the screen where you could watch short films from about 1190-20 in the old regions, especially the Vilna region, there is a video about horse performances, and of course you can see your own city Minsk, filmed more than 100 years ago, with retro cars on Lenin Square and at the opera house, it's worth a lot, the architect is very talented and the embodiment is super. The price is quite symbolic, it is a pity that there is no modern advertising of the museum, because people all think that there is little to see, you need to advertise this hall with equipment, it is very impressive. And it would also be great to make a cafe with some kind of guerrilla cuisine and Belarusian folk, because you get very tired, you want to eat hot afterwards. Success and prosperity. They did not spare money for construction and improvement. I expected less, I was so surprised. Thanks
The museum was very impressive. I advise you to visit. There are so many destinies, lives, and people who forged victory... Glory and eternal memory to the heroes. Belarusian brothers! You were the first to stand up for the Motherland. I am immensely grateful to you and bow low to the ground.
A great museum!, convenient, a lot of fake exhibits, an interesting selection of information and expositions, you can listen to some guides again, I'm sure they will tell you something interesting, they spent more than 2 hours in it for themselves, you can do more, but legs and body, actively did not want to do it.
The museum is super. There are many exhibits and beautiful panoramas with wax figures. We were struck by real tanks and planes. The halls are dedicated to various events and topics, and the hall about concentration camps is especially touching.
A magnificent museum, very interesting exhibitions. Incredible atmosphere and unique artifacts. All guests of Minsk should definitely visit. A very useful place to visit with children.
On a large scale. The history of the beginning of the Second World War, the rear, partisan detachments, equipment, the horror of concentration camps and finally liberation from the fascist invaders are clearly shown.
A majestic Stele in the foreground in front of the museum entrance.
Among the wishes, I would like more interactive exhibits, as it was done, for example, at the WWII Museum in Tula.
The Museum of the Great Patriotic War... Yes, everything is beautiful, stylish, modern. The museum displays all the bitterness and pain of the war.The guides are experts in their field. If you haven't been yet, I advise you to visit!
In all cities we visit museums dedicated to the Great Patriotic War (of course, where they are). But it was very impressive, very strong exposure. An unusual arrangement, so far it is the only one in which there are real-size tanks in the internal exposition. It is more usual to see them on the outside.
The paintings are stunningly inscribed in the exposition, to the point of goosebumps.
Be sure to visit so that this horror does not happen again.
I join all the enthusiastic reviews. Really the strongest place in spirit, in pride for our countries. Be sure to take the tour, it is very informative, although it is clear that it is very difficult to tell the history of Belarus during the war in an hour, but the organizer succeeded. We agreed on the tour in two weeks, by e-mail - we answered instantly, agreed on the date and time. Information for Russians - payment of the Russian MIR from the Savings Bank passes without problems. Children-citizens of the Russian Federation also have a discount. Come, our common history should not be forgotten.
